Do we have an official MMO Champion bingo card for Blizzcon and WoW ?
Most players would. It also doesn't help that Avaloren by all accounts would be a retread of the current expansion. Something Blizzard also never does.

Well that's a complaint on the content, not the setting itself. From memory people were quite excited about Zaralek when it was first announced. Blizzard simply dropped the ball when it came to what you can do around Arberrus.
If it's done right, I think it could be fantastic! Give me nerubian lore, crystal caverns, dwarven lore, heart of Azeroth, all of that! Give me a fake sky kind of thing, a mushroom forest, a mechagnome colony, lava-bending goblin engineers and a steampunk Undermine, I would LOVE that.
But if it's just Zaralek in 5 different colours, no thanks.
Correct, I've messed with the system outside of Zaralek and there are some issues with actual terrain in the distance behaving funky during the transition if you're not in some sort of transitional cave, but if that issue is fixed (or not occurring in Blizzard's implementation) or if the transition is properly blocked through other means (e.g. thick mists, flying over sea) then they could pretty much do it between any type of continent, underground, above ground or high up in the sky.
Blizzard always varies with their expansion settings.
Having Avaloren after Dragon Isles is like having WoD Draenor after Outlands. Absolutely no one would enjoy that.
The leaked Avaloren is too similar to the Dragon Isles to generate any hype.
Well I think I know what marlamin discovered and its true that it could mean anything so its not really worth to post about it, could also be a developper joke
Two. The Lightbound invasion and an Underground expansion. "Soul of Azeroth" relates to an Underground expansion.
Uh Chen was one of the most popular WC characters coming out of WC3. Blizzard dropped easter eggs of Chen and Pandaria constantly from Vanilla through MoP. How do people not know this?As for the discussion a few pages ago. I do not buy into the whole "A famous character has to lead us into the expansion, otherwise it's not possible." I mean, the Pandaren were lorewise absolutely unknown. And suddenly we are supposed to believe that Chen was "super famous" in the lore? Yea.. no.
Although the website doesn't go beyond 10.0.2, you can view other maps here and you can toggle the grid by clicking the layer button on the top right and enabling the "ADT grid".
...I have no idea what you are talking about.
I think earlier on in the thread I have a route plan using Island Expedition maps and showing how you could travel between every single zone just by using a skybox illusion and the emptiness of the sea to allow for extended movement so you can move from map to map. Like Pandaria to Snowblossom Village to Molten Clay to Zandalar. Or Kalimdor to Skittering Deeps to Northrend or Gilneas to Crestfall to Kul Tiras.
I've been thinking about this leak mentioning a bungie style roadmap that has multiple expansions announced at once, and the wording of Metzens return tweet, "how the world unfolds over the next few years…"
They've committed to a patch roadmap this expansion, maybe they're expanding upon that idea?
Do you mean the keys for the encrypted content? I've talked about that pretty extensively throughout the entire thread, there's barely anything I'm holding back in the context of those outside of 10.2 campaign spoilers. There's nothing regarding 11.0 there that I haven't already talked about previously.
The roadmap has been a massive success, I don't believe anyone has had anything negative to say about it (how would they?), so I would not be surprised if they expanded on the idea. The only thing I think would be a possible improvement is to have it somehow integrated in-game as well, no clue how but I know not everyone cares to read official news/the highlighted stuff in the launcher. Maybe tease future content a bit more similar to how there were 'locked off' things back in Vanilla that were added/included later? Not sure.
