    But yeah, "no reason".
And again, what prove, what objective data do you have that this expansion cannot in any way end in such a lore situation that we go to X (X being Avaloren, Undermine, The moon, The shed out back, Wallmart, or whatever)? Because you seem so convinced that DF does not have a story hook into the next expansion.

They better do it before throwing us there. Its just basic logic.
You have to hype up people before throwing them there, and WoW almost always operated on the basis of building up something across few expansions or using big nostalgia before letting us go there.
In other case interest would be just lower, check out how MoP (and at lesser point Cata, because it has main villain from WC2 that was way less known and popular than WC3) went in terms of population.
Dont try to downplay my point to a simple whining, its pretty much reasonable point to have.
And im not against Avaloren as a concept. Im against it being the place for 11.0.
Build it up throught 11.0 (and maybe 12.0), then let us go therein 12.0(13.0). Simple.

Light and Void on other hand have eached the point when they will get overcooked, if Blizzard will wait for longer. I judge by myself obviously - i feel like now is the perfect timing for Light vs Void expansion. Waiting for another couple years through another filler expansion will surely lower my interest as a player.

Same reason people want playable Tuskarr. Either as a meme or a super niche interest they have. Pandaren were not a popular request at all and MoP did blindside the community when it was first leaked. Even the Blizzard CM team didn't think it was real.

    Interesting, because we have devs stating that the opposite is true;

During an interview with Game Front, Lead Quest Designer Dave Kosak, who also was on the panel with Metzen, echoed the sentiments that Mists of Pandaria may seem more light-hearted, but it's just as important to the overall WoW experience as the previous expansion sets. Kosak also said that a playable pandaren race is “by far” the most asked-for World of Warcraft feature among fans.

That's an actually insane quote. No idea what metric the devs are going off but I find it laughable. More asked for than anything else? Even gameplay features? Pandaren? I do not believe that for a second.

I know it wasn't what me or ANYONE I'd known wanted. I'd heard of Pandaren the same way I hear of Tuskarr today.

They already leaked it, we're just all keeping it a secret from you.

Except DF DOES have a hook to the next expansion, and that hook is Iridikron and the void object he stole.

None of that has anything to do with Avaloren though. Instead it involves the world soul, which Iridikron has clearly stated that he wants to rip away from the titans.

at some point some tangible promotional material will come across someone, it's impossible that doesn't happen. if we are unlucky, it happens only 1 day before blizzcon, but it is inevitable imo.

And yet, after it all, i'm still left wondering how any of that expansion is related to the rest.
Unless you're a Dracthyr, you may have slipped through the story.

And even if you haven't, it feels so disconnected from us (the player character) that it doesnt really matter.
Everytime any of the dragons were of importance, it was either fighting us, or with us against stomething bigger.
And at no time did we learn anything about an incarnate vault, or anything related to the incarnates.

Story delivery was so bad this time the expansion might has well be entirely forgotten / be in its own bubble, like SL. I'm not saying the story is bad, but I, as a player OR a character, don't feel like it is relevant to me.

SL story was bad. Like. BAAAAD. but the delivery was okay. I understood why we went where we went, even if i though it sucked.
DF story is probably better, only because SL was THAT bad, but I'm not sure it is. Because the delivery is so bad I don't know if i know all there is to.. know.

All i'm saying is, i still don't know why we shipped to the DF to start with.
The Mists have lifted (and we know why) / We attack the Legion to push them back / We fend off the Iron Horde / We need to save our leaders in the Afterlife / We seek new allies to fight the opposing faction / The land is healing somehow and... uhh... Wrathion is being homesick at the exact time some big unknown Dragon is trying to free her brothers and sisters ?

I'm not saying there's no story, but... man the delivery suck as hard as SL story.

Chen wasn't just a side mission character, he stayed with you for the entire campaign and you got him before Rokhan, the other character who you travelled with, Had to do a sidequest to unlock him, sure, but that's basically everyone. If you did that mission early (which could be done as it was right along a main pathway, there's a reason one of Durotar's big features is that exact canyon) you'd have him for the entire campaign basically.

He's always been more relevant than say, Samuro, who was just "You get a Blademaster for one mission", and Pandaren were absolutely one of the most requested races. Like, there were far more requests for Pandaren as playable than ogres, absolutely a top three race, only dwarfed by, y'know. High and Blood elves.

I was around the traps in Vanilla, I can confirm: Pandaren were massively requested since basically launch. Easier far more popular than ogres. If I recall correctly the running stuff at the time was BElves/HElves up first, Naga or goblins around second, Pandaren third, then Worgen.

Tuskarr weren't even talked about until Wrath, and that was because before Wrath, Tuskarr were just random hostile creep on the Icecrown maps. They got a big of popularity in Wrath, sure, but by that time Pandaren were a three plus expansion behemoth who absolutely gained massive popularity from the "TBC was supposed to have Pandaren" rumours

Let's assume that all leaks are fake. Which could mean that blizzard finally managed to not give out any unencrypted art or press kit before the announcement. Which.... Is about time, isn't it?
Possibly. Or the folks with it have something on it that'd identify them if they spread it

Kind of. But to be fair the keepers are just as bad at protecting azeroth as the dragons are. Their track record of corruption and drama isn't much better.

Metzen backed up that statement, and Blizzard originally wanted to release them in TBC due to their popularity.

For me they are , and its or world revamp , Or khaz algar + partial revamp , or avaloren + khaz algar

Also , the prints don't say about a new class or race playable , or other mechanics , only zones , and this can be suspicious , since is more easy to fake zones than classes/races or mechanics

Actually the reason was the primalist invasions, infinite stealing tyr's disk, and the return of the dravthyr and Raz that compelled us to go to the dragon isles
