After this cinematic I really doubt they'll "redeem" the ice dragon like others in this thread predicted. I had my doubts before but this basically confirms it for me.

Looks like the Sundered Flame are gonna take the temptating bait of Aberrus.

And they don't seem to care about them. Maybe they know it will be just another servitude.
I mean, it can still easily happen. It all depends on what Iridikron really wants to do. He may want to do some fucked up shit later that may cause her to bail (maybe he will get Galakron'd? His supposed legendary hunger didn't manifest at all yet).

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
I mean, of course they know.
Iridikron definitely knows.
But now we have confirmation that Vyranoth is in on it too.

Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.
Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

Lore aside, the visual aspect of these cinematics are getting spicier with each release
Very much seems that they are building up to the Titan keepers having some hidden agenda they kept from the Aspects. All this time, and the Tyr construct has yet to become relevant.
We now have the Incarnates hidden agenda seemingly on a collision course with the Titan and Infinite plotlines.
It's nice to have a narrative that actually manages to be both predictable and inscrutable again. That nice blend of seeing the narrative unfolding like it should, and still not knowing what will become of it.
Of course, i said that before with BfA and the Sylvanas plotline, so maybe i am giving the writers too much credit. At least i dare hope again.

I wasn't terribly impressed by how the cinematic felt, but damn if it didn't fire on all cylinders when it came to the small touches. Freezing over the crevice, or Fyrakk doing that midair transformation and diving headfirst into the earth.
The world revamp dream will never die!
I doubt the Titan agenda is all in malicious. Unless they do more on that..gauntlet that Neltharion had right before he gave in to the Old Gods.

Vyranoth has been one of the less interesting to me since she's such an obvious candidate for redemption—if this is indicating that she'll go down a more Machiavellian direction, that would be a very intriguing prospect. I'm holding out hope, improbable though it may be, that she survives the expansion by stopping short of doing anything outwardly self-destructive, but is not redeemed yet and sticks around as a recurring villain.

Fyrakk continues to be one of the more entertaining villains thus far. Getting a little more accustomed to Vyranoth with her extremism more on display, though.
Icicle woman had better be dead by the end. I'm tired of the woman in a villain ensemble being allowed off the hook while all of the men die.
I was pretty sure Vyranoth might end up with a chage of heart at some point but the trailer made it look like she is well aware of what will happen to Fyrakk and thus not really caring about it. Interesting. Imagine if they end up going the route of Vyranoth being the most evil of them and using Iridikron to achieve her own goals.
That said, I'm a sucker for anything elemental or dragons so hope at least one of them ends up surviving DF.
I wanted Vyranoth to stick around mostly because I wanted a new faction to join the roster of bad guys for future content. The thing is . . . are there any primalists left? We decimate them in the dungeons and VotI raid, Razsageth clearly did not give a shit about them and the other Incarnates likely care even less. Staying around doesn't matter if you have no minions; Denathrius has the Nathrezim (and through them the ability to recruit from what is left of the Legion if he so chooses) and Azshara has the naga.
That said I continue to enjoy the incarnates. They at least have some character and decent voice acting. Maybe it's just a reaction to how bland Zovaal was. They are not on the level of Azshara or Denathrius from the more recent WoW villains but they have potential. My main concerns narratively is we have no idea what they are doing which is tiresome and lowers my engagement with the story plus we have no interaction with them. I know a very vocal group hates us being the "champions" but in DF I just feel like a background character in Emberthal's story. The narrative makes me feel like she is doing the dungeons and raids while my paladin is taking photos of ducks.
Thinking of the Incarnate endgame, maybe this will end with a revamped Storm Peaks. The Incarnates want to end Titan control over Azeroth. If they want to do that, they need to destroy the Keepers and Ulduar. The Aspects are not their primary antagonist; that's Tyr and Odyn.

What's the difference? It's still the end of the world.
A more interesting story at this point would be if these dragons appeared, and we instantly kicked their fucking asses after decades of non-stop war against planet sized greek gods and lovecraftian cthulhu nightmares.

If Activision wants to try writing something interesting for a change they could have the Incarnates win. That could segue well into a world-revamp cata syle. Like a reverse sundering where the continents fuse and in the center is an "ocean" with the maw. Also a great excuse to wipe out SW and Org and have a new merged-faction capital city.
I dislike both of these—the former entails continuing what I would consider the worst trend in the storyline currently, which the limitless cosmic wank, and the second entails continuing the latter worst trend in the setting as it is now, which is the depreciation of identity. Neither are desirable.
All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.
