Iridikron being on Avaloren seems a bit weak as a hook to me.

i think to some players housing wouldn't be a lame fluff feature, it could become one of the primary means of gameplay.

for me i don't like collection stuff very much, I like to get 3-5 transmogs and 1 or 2 mounts i like and i basically dont collect anything until something i think looks cool comes out again

if i had housing and could decorate a place with all this stuff im collecting, trophies from bosses, an armory full of all the tier i like? id be doing all of it, because that visual and that space that i could share with friends means more to me than filling out a log or achievement points

It will be like with pet battles. It‘s nice to have, but it doesn’t keep players playing and subscribers subbed. It’s a side activity to all the usually PvE / PvP stuff. I’m not saying housing has no fans out there, but as the main new feature it will inevitably fall flat. WoW is about combat and in that regard every expansion needs something. Dragonflight was already missing something in that regard (borrowed power re-imagined), a second expansion without it? A hard pass.

alright, new music from blizz for blizzcon and i think it is a big hint at what to expect.

Especially the newest one having the same pillars as we saw from the twitter pictures.

The first got jaina, the second thrall. This last one got Nozdormu and chromie.

Synthwave was used mostly during the 1980s movies, which one of the movies was Back to the Future.

After 10.2, two big plot points of DF are still open, first was that Iridikron questiones why the titans keep this timeline, second is Nozdormus fall to Murozond.

I don't know how or why, but i think we will get a timetravel expansion.

Also, this datamined unused Lo'Gosh/Old Sylvanas outfites are still unused.

I do agree with you abt borrowed power, as much as i love housing and content like that i also really want a power system to hook me in again that i can grind for and customize

I just dont expect it cause blizzard went the opposite direction after SL and the community backlash against borrowed power, they just completely got rid of it and idk if they have plans to bring it back or not even in a more tempered state

I'm all hopped up on NyQuil and no longer have self control. Heard from a drunk friends at a Halloween party about the theme of the expansion.

Is set in Avaloren, Tyr is the one that opens the way for us. Azeroth is considered to be the strongest of world souls because it's actually twin world souls in the planet. The Titans took over Azeroth, while Life and the Void got their hands on Avaloren. Neither has full a majority control and is working in tandem. Elune and a fifth old god working in secret together. Tyr stumbled across the info, and helped remove all mention to keep it safe as he saw that cooperation is possible opposed to an eternity of conflict. Tyr had Nozdormu erase evidence of Avaloren by changing small parts of the time ways, and was made to forget, which set it motion the cracks that would lead to Murozond.

With Tyr coming back, so did his knowledge of the place. Odyn finds Tyr's secret and is furious and gets his Halls ready for war. Tyr escapes Odyn with the help of the newly empowered dragonflights and sets up a plan for going to Avaloren with the help of other mortal races. Turalyon, Alleria and Wrathion featured heavily, with a changed Anduin making a return but not for the throne. Khaz Algar is home to the descendents of titan keepers that willingly accepted the curse of flesh, and they are dwarf like in features but as big as Kul Titans. Also new races such as a owl like race (Strigs), a mouse race (Rodenian) and a new K'Thir subspecies, populate Avaloren.

This sounds pretty dope tbh. But they definitely fucked up by holding back on all that Tyr content you refer to till 10.2 and beyond if this is where they are going with the story.

Avaloren is going to be fun. Super fun. If it's real.

I don't actually mind the idea of a new hidden continent even if it's been reused for like, the 4th time... Hidden continents by space gods is kind of like on brand. And Titan facilities and such are historically some of the most fun stuff WoW has.

But, and I say this knowing that I actually kinda hate "Subversion of expectations"... I would really love to see Avaloren be revealed through them invading our side of Azeroth and not the other way around.

Also they could fit into the mech more like an Ironman suit. Barely making them bigger. Tinkers would sit in theirs. Its not hard. You have to have zero creativity or malicious intent to not understand this. Just another time where Teriz cant be wrong. A conversation is supposed to have some give and take.

apparently the next months trading post will be cosmic, also i think these two sets are not assigned to the tradingposts, or were at least not identified to be part of it.
