Would feel awesome if the cinematic plays and everyone is just like "WTF (in a good way)?" I would SO love not seeing a "true leak" prior to BlizzCon for the first time (even if I didn't know it was real at the time).

I agree! I hope they’re all AI/fake! Genuine surprise is rare these days.

I do this thing where when I’m really excited for a movie or show, I don’t watch any trailers for it or look up any info or advertisements for it. I would genuinely love to be surprised in the same way, no expectations or leaks to go off of.

I'm already expecting that sinking feeling in my stomach when they show the trailer and we see "New Continent: Avaloren" and then it proceeds to show those recycled asset zones from the leak...

Sundering of Azeroth

Iridkron, Azshara and Xal use the infinite flight to go back to before the sundering in order to use the void thing to enslave Sargeras. We go back to try and stop them but ultimately they succeed, the world is sundered woth the void energies thus changing Azeroth so world revamp

I can see how me mentioning the word "cinematic" and "true leak" in the same sentence could be misconstrued. By "for the first time," I meant going into BlizzCon reveal with absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE (e.g. a leak) of what "could" be announced.

I keep complaining about Avaloren, but here's the thing - it could be good, we just can't have a gang of literal who's leading an expansion

WoD and Legion have the best levelling story simply because it's a constant stream of familiar faces

Shadowlands and Dragonflight, most people you meet are entirely new and it's hard to give a fuck frankly - just imo

Literally me, every day since it "leaked." However, if the rest of the "Continent overview" redeems those images with better assets and scenery shown, I would be content.

But yes, I agree. If we don't get any more leaks until the day of BlizzCon, those last few hours leading up to the Opening Ceremony should be interesting as that's usually when the real leaks start dropping.
