I am keeping it vague for the simple reason that I didn't see well enough. i don't wanna say "oh it was definitely xal'atath, holding the trinket from the new dungeon, 110% believe me guys, believe me." i saw it for 4 seconds total, from a bad angle. it was an elf, with a look that wasn't easy to identify, if it is xal'atath she has a new model. and she held a sphere in her hands with a lot of purple and some vaguely gold/yellow on it. i made the assumption that it was xal'atath due to my knowledge of playing the game.

if i see that banner hanging up tomorrow i can come back and describe it with 5000 words, if you'd like. i play wow, i love wow, i have built blizzcon sets previous years aswell, i browse this forum on occation but not as much as i used to. i'm not oblivious to the stuff i see, but i don't wanna sound like i am certain when i'm not.

Based on this, we haven't seen much of Golganneth's legacy. We saw his tidestone a few times but not much about how he or his servants shaped the sea and sky.

Golganneth is supposedly the lord of the skies and oceans. He gave Hodir his ice powers while he gave Thorim dominion over lightning. Both of which use their power to hold control over the skies and weather.

In the RPG, Creator of the seas and skies, Golganneth is the father of Azeroth's sea giants and loves flying and swimming creatures above all else.

No Avaloren. The expansion is actually a world revamp, but only of the Eastern Kingdoms, not Kalimdor.

Six zones, five made up of merged EK zones, and Khaz Algar, which the "leaker" compares to Suramar.

Khaz Algar is located deep beneath EK via a giant fissure.

New race: Algarians, basically playable elementals that use the dwarf skeleton. Storm, Earth and Fire Algarians are playable, but no water ones (but a Vashj'ir revamp is patch content so maybe they'll show up there).

Lots and lots of new character customization options

New demon hunter spec: Torment. A mid-range DPS that uses a scythe (but not as an equipable weapon, leaker compares it to outlaw rogue's pistol). Leaker doesn't think its a support spec.

Shaman for every race, including dracthyr. No idea about druids.

No player housing.

The new big gameplay system is a redesign of glyphs that work like a talent tree "but in depth changes for spells."

No faction specific content in EK, everything's neutral now with a big focus on race specific content, like racial talent trees.

Both the glyph and race talent trees are "not power related."
Khaz Algar is "very very deep and far" beneath the EK. You access it via "super speed dragonriding."
Algarians don't look like dwarves, they're very different to the point it's hard to tell they use the same skeleton

As far as the leaker knows, Iridikron, Azshara, Xal'atath, and Denathrius (someone asked if any of them would show up) are NOT in the expansion.

I can confirm zugzug's word, some banners started to arrive today, got a glimpse of one, just saw the top half. Elf with purple eyes, on a dark purple background. Seems like it's either for the Faire or for some test fits. Hard to know so far. Might be for the merch booth. We should receive the rest by Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning once the Overwatch booth is up.

You have to remember some of the Avaloren leaks were Odyn first tier leading into Iridikron and Xal'atath's plot, she could easily be the focus of the cinematic for an Avaloren expansion.

I wish the lore around Argus and the Draenei was explored more. Did the Draenei know they were living on a world soul? Surely their priests would've sensed it.
