Surely the next expac is going to be a big deal, being that it will likely release during the 20th anniversary of WoW. Surely they would want to "kitchen sink" it, right?

Interesting how none of the boxes in this are open or any garage on the floor, while the leak does.

Weird, but I'm very suspicious of a good chunk of the new Human assets having that "tied by ropes" aesthetic.

WoD was the 10th anniversary expansion, so I wouldn't go off that alone given precedent.

Oh good grief, people put boxes inside of boxes all the time...it's a way to ship something more securely instead of using a smaller box and packing peanuts or something, you just essentially double the cardboard thickness.

I mean I can't. I've seen things people suggested, they were nowhere near at the same level and can easily be explained by the blur.

Is this our first look at a Durotar revamp?

Unlikely, but it's fun to speculate
It would be funny if it's Chromie and Nozdormu, looking to remove spoilers from the Durotar Synthwave playlist.
Alternatively, they just like to listen it to chill.

I think that could be due to the prompt though, that's as simple as saying "unpacked boxes" vs "room full of boxes" in an AI prompt, or something along those lines

I remember this being a huge issue with DALL-E 2 when it first came out. If you asked for a "warehouse with a few cardboard boxes", it would fill the entire room and more or less ignore the rest of the prompt if you asked it to have something else in the warehouse. I guess this is a remnant of that oddity.

So I guess the cinematic is Anduin returning but then immediately getting stabbed and we have to throw him in lake for a few patches

Not actually though, I made these with Bing. Hopefully to prove a point.

But still this is some quality stuff it just show how easy it is to make a fake leak these days

Doesn't even have to be that. If you are shipping something that needs assembly, you may well individually box the parts as well.

You can just edit the prompt to specify "open cardboard boxes" and you'll get them. I wouldn't look too hard into the details here, the point is that you can—with the right prompt—create the exact image that was shared. I would just move on from it at this point, it's pretty obvious that it's AI.

How does that even work practically? You cant just forklift that around. Even if, how would you get it through doors? Sorry, but it makes no sense to me.

Even more confused why people instantly hook in on this image, but instantly dismiss the well crafted (if fake) zone images as not real?
General disclaimer that I am not saying the image are in fact real:

A single wooden pallet can hold a great deal of weight; we once had about a dozen pallets that had crates of marble on them, I want to say they were in the area of 1500-1800 lbs in total, and they sat undisturbed for years. Forklifts are designed to hold up to 10,000 lbs and it mostly picks up stuff on pallets, so the weight limit is pretty high.

Just a ballpark guess that the weight of those pillars is probably a few hundred pounds, at most, and in terms of pallet load, that's like holding a paper plate on your hand.

If the image was indeed real and not AI and they're making a giant set based on the next expansion, how would they stop it from leaking the very moment the con opens? They'd want to announce it on stage and keep it a secret until then.
