There was a leak for an expansion called World of Warcraft: Harbinger two days ago.

It doesn't sound that good though. They say it's not Nazjatar 2.0, but it absolutely is Nazjatar 2.0.

I hope the zone screenshots are fake and this is just a subtle nod to an excellent fake as opposed to a confirmation of some kind.

The trading post agenda was done long ago I think. Pretty sure it's here to tease a titan VS void expansion, which could be Avaloren (but it wouldn't be surprising).

Name is Shadow over Azeroth. It has to do with one of the void lords casting sort of a void barrier thing over Azeroth. Illidan comes back to warn us just before and Sargeras is out of his prison. He's not redeemed from what I gathered but is working alongside the other titans now that they've realized the threat of the void. He pulls out the sword out of Silithus and through the hole we travel to Uldaz. There is a teleporter pad there which takes us to Khaz'Algar, which is underground, like way waaay underground. The earthen have become "corrupted" by being too close to the titan soul of Azeroth.
Heart of Azeroth is back and Khaz'Algar can only be entered if you have the neck equiped. Major world revamp with lots of void portals opening all over similar to Legion Invasions.
Fun Fact: The trailer is narrated by knaifu.

Did anyone dissect this one 600 pages ago?

It's pretty ridiculous how much Vashjir captures the aesthetic and size of what Nazjatar should be, then they made the version of Nazjatar they did.

It’s tragic. At least we only saw a part of it, with the submerged portion making most of it. But I share ercarp’s disappointment, I don’t care for it anymore.

We already have a working portal room that was JUST expanded in 10.2 to accommodate future releases.

yes we have - but it is a partial solution for ol'player *(despite its a total mess) and not sloution at all for new ones - who cant figure what they should do and where they should go. Outland of the left / northren on the right / care on steps or u gona be thrown to WoD

Imagine chormie time where when u start as an orc u are thrown in 'modernized' valey of trialls ' *(but u finishing it like this isle for new players) quests are polished and puted in descent order *like mini-capaign* when u are done - u are thrown back to portal room and chose another adventure (ofc there is an order, when and where u can go)

I dont want Heart of Azeroth back in any shape or form. Just think of other convinient way to reach Khaz'Algar. Thinking about all grinding systems of BFA makes me faint.

I wish Artifact weapons had just been a permanent system with a new batch of them every expansion all they need to do is hard cap AP to prevent the idiots with no self control from facegrinding it all instantly

Avaloren is just a hard guess, we can end with anything at this point, and i will be really surprised if we had any of the features of the next expansion right.

but also i think the Avaloren idea and the "Algarian Stormrider" might have pinned any other theories from coming up.

theres only so much people can make up that sounds cool when its a brand new land we have a handful of facts on. I mean, they could, but it wouldn't sound super believable and thats the point of most of the leaks... to fool people

They cant go "Oh yeah Mueh'zala is the big bad of Shadowlands!" cause there just isnt as much tying avaloren to current ideas

The Harbinger guy's account name is "Not an Old God Expac" using a Caesar cipher. At least he gave us a small puzzle.

Nice detective work. I didn't even realize it was supposed to be encrypted words, I just thought it was (ironically) supposed to sound like Shath'Yar, the language of the Old Gods.

somehow the heart only working on khaz algar make me belive it will work way different the original counterpart

AI has ruined it tbh. Leaks (non-text-based ones at least) used to take effort. Now anybody can just throw some words into a website and have a machine fart out a leak for them instead. It sucks.

Tbh I don't even know why people are assuming that if it comes back it would even remotely work in the same way as it did in BFA considering how that expac was received?

Some people are saying it was debunked because they refused to take a picture of the street outside to prove that they're on location, but to be honest, if I was in their shoes I would not be doing that either. I'd be paranoid that the photo would somehow be linked back to me.

We absolutely do not need a borrowed power farm simulator again. They even said so themselves prior to DF release..

I never talked about borrowed power, I talked about a progression system that gives you something to do the entire expansion (and all the expansions after that). One pretty universal opinion about DF is that it lacked an endgame system to keep you going. Without something like that the next expansion will be gameplay wise the exact same as this expansion. And who likes to play the exact same spec without changes for 4 years? Yeah exactly.
