Interesting. I hope your "leak" is it, but not sure how i feel about heart of Azeroth coming back.

If they put in essences from the start, get rid of azerite armor, put a weekly cap & catch-up system then it should be ok

In the end the original wasn't that bad, the azerite armor was a pain. They could very well implement the path of the titans as an evergreen progression

maybe you missunderstood me. i also play wow since may 2005 without interruption in sub. i like DF and my class’s design overall. i just say „coming to MMOC with your hopes is not worth it“. imo a player type like you will no longer find here, what you are searching for. that’s all. at least i stopped for myself coming here on a daily base. but i don’t stopped wow playing.

since it sounded like you are in the same boat, my advice was just: if you come to MMOC and find a whiny childish 2023 crowd, simply do no longer come here often. at least for me it works.

I know and I have no clue why they abandoned this in favor of borrowed power three times in a row. Huge mistake. There needs to be a progression system in any form or shape, hopefully not as borrowed power though.

i wonder if they get apprehensive trying to create this sytem within the 2 year time frame knowing its going to affect the game (possibly) permanently, but honestly at this point we got a pretty well done talent system within 1 expansion's life cycle, i think they could develop this too

IronWasher's post history had a leak about 600 pages back saying Khaz Algar is under Silithus and the Titans are teaming up to fight off a void invasion

Name is Shadow over Azeroth. It has to do with one of the void lords casting sort of a void barrier thing over Azeroth. Illidan comes back to warn us just before and Sargeras is out of his prison. He's not redeemed from what I gathered but is working alongside the other titans now that they've realized the threat of the void. He pulls out the sword out of Silithus and through the hole we travel to Uldaz. There is a teleporter pad there which takes us to Khaz'Algar, which is underground, like way waaay underground. The earthen have become "corrupted" by being too close to the titan soul of Azeroth.
Heart of Azeroth is back and Khaz'Algar can only be entered if you have the neck equiped. Major world revamp with lots of void portals opening all over similar to Legion Invasions.
Fun Fact: The trailer is narrated by knaifu.
