    Same as with SL lol

SL could literally live of glory of 20+ years of warcraft characters. Instead they decided to give us gender confused palegos and pixar fairies.
No, we're saying you don't pay attention to the story. You're claiming a bunch of C lister characters getting the attention of C lister characters is tossing away potential? This ain't Warlords where potential was tossed away. SL had no hope as it was trying to be Planescape the setting which is a notoriously philosophical, 90s setting that is far better to read than play in

If you don't like philosophy then, sorry, SL being based on Planescape was always going to be poor for you, because that's the philosophical D&D setting and Pelegos would fit in fine (better him being the new arbiter than sylvy though tbh). If you don't like fairies then uh, the fantasy genre ain't for you, mate.

instead, they decided to abandon the expansion and cut it short.
I feel like the whole point of the expansion was to deliver the tree and the Aspects their powers again. If that, then it’s not really cut short.

And we know Algar is related to the stars, thanks to Algalon and Rygelon showing the source of the Titan root words for their names.

It does look strikingly more drawn than anything at this resolution. Everything does. Almost like somebody uprezzed the League Artstyle and then mixed it with the WoW Artstyle.. which frankly, would probably be where we'd end up if they did another round of visual improvements to the WoW Art style.

I agree. Once you zoom in the plants on the rock on the bottom right looks like it is just smeared on when you zoom in.

Honestly if that hadn't happened this expansion would've been a complete waste of time.

People keep saying this but Dragonflight has only been out for 11 months. It's only half over. If it really does end in August you have ever right to say this but that's highly unlikely, statistically speaking.

It's hilarious, according to him we should've concluded:

    The faction war in Vanilla
    The Legion in TBC
    The Scourge in WotLK
    Old gods in MoP
    Etc.

And that's just the main storylines.

Little more than 3 days to go. We have come a long way from arguing if a thing is or is not a drogbar.

After reading your reply I go back and read mine and I seem like a smartass. It wasn't intended I'm sorry about that. I agree with the boxes as well.

I always forget palegos was a character because by and large outside of Denathrius the shclands characters were just dull.

It really confuses me that people remember such a bland character. It's like Bluther. Or Baine.

You kind of just forget they exist

I will never forgive them for making Baine Udder-ly useless (god forgive me ).

    I thought Pelgaso was ok

Eh, if you did Bastion he was one of your soulbinds and hung around a lot. The whole 'trying to disguise himself to not be a blatent Kyrian' part of the story was at least vaguely interesting

In an expansion as character starved as SL, anyone who at least had something to them drew folks in

So true, and honestly I barely remember any characters at all from that expansion. I remember some guy with nipples…? Lol

Still so sad about Baine though. After Cairne, he had such opportunity, and ended up being such a disappointment.

Pelagos was one of the few things about Shadowlands I LIKED, ironically. He wasn't a spectacular character but he had a coherent, decently told beginning-middle-end. And ANYTHING being decent in SL was welcome.

Yeah, as someone who was basically forced to go Kyrian on every character at first i was very familiar with him

"The seventh covets what the six hold fast" is a quote from the voidy statue in Korthia. I think everything else talks about five.

EDIT: Forgot the other quote from the statue, "Hidden from daylight, a sleeping flame rests atop the sixth tree"

Yep and they legit have the most accurate leak for d4. So I'm inclined to believe them.
