I've watched this several times now and I'm still not 100% sure what I'm looking at. Looks like there's a giant octopus (N'Zoth?) and then it does an anime-style zoom on their eye and then the octopus flies upward...?

N'Zoth's eye looks very different from that. If it's an old god, it is more likely to be Xal, but I doubt they would make her look so similar to N'Zoth.

It wasn't from the actual trailer but a diagram of it. It perfectly lines up with another leak posted here and it was posted -before- the Shadows over Azeroth leak by two different people.

the person has since described it better. Seems to have been madame lazule, a hearthstone character,who will feature in the Darkmoon faire exhibit.

You mean Drakka (Thralls mother), not Aggra (Thralls wife). Also there was Uther and Ysera.

But thinking about it, not having Arthas in the one place where he could be is strange. Also, Arthas was part of a BFA cinematic with Jaina, and the Uther Short for Shadowlands. It was clearly that he was build up again for something big, not just ending as a whimper.

See that's how uninterested I am in orcs - especially when said orc somehow still looks like an orc in a zone where pretty much everyone else looks like a blob of goo or a flesh monster.

It's getting increasingly difficult to spot the changes. Though it's nice that the train finally looks truly worthy of Blizzcon.

Xal'atath is Old God shit to take care of, and the purpose of the Harbinger is to corrupt the world soul. The world soul isn't out in space, it's under the surface of Azeroth.

Oh, that's a triquetra, a celtic symbol. That's new in WoW I think, so I imagine this would be related to Avaloren.

Pretty sure thats a symbol or similar symbol that you can choose for your tabards

The trees looks handpainted, and also lots of the set pieces shows signs of Brushwork, the textures on 3D models on trailer are always on a 3D level, and never looking like a paint.
At least that's the way i see it, and could be the rationale behind the note Ercarp gave
