yeah but pott has been used in leaks since it was scrapped from cata. Revamped archeology is an easy guess as Blizzard has mentioned in multiple interview that they want to overhaul it.

Its a lot easier to make a new class every expansion when you don't have to create and balance a new borrowed power system every time.

Yep thats a good point, there was also that huge dev staff aquisition from the Proletariat Company, i think it was 100+ devs with bonus of some of them being already experiencied in MMORPGs.

On top of that, your biggest competition (that some of your current devs take inspiration from) adds new classes every expansion as one of it's main hype sources. They're obviously quite a bit simpler, because no talents or specs or anything, but the idea is there.

I would clamp down on those expectations a bit. You're blowing this up bigger than what it is. Again, 11.0 is going to be an expansion in line with previous expansions. They're likely not going to pack more stuff into it just because it's falling on an event.

Besides Path of the Titans and Death of Chromie, they also added the tier 3 crafting to Naxx. I don't like Dragonflight crafting, but that cosmetic axe drop in Dawn of the Infinite makes me wonder if they could make some system where you can get relevant loot from all old raids.

Honestly, the real surprise was we didn't get a class with Shadowlands.
