We have had tons of quest about death souls and even going to the shadowlands, like none of them fit with what we got in SL.

We have known about other pantheons since atleast the first chronicles with the void lords.

And no what we get in chronicles doesn’t fit with what the SL book tells us of any ordering of the universe and the powers being balanced.

please tell me, what quests the SL retconned.

Unfortunately you can't use "traditional" flying in Zaralek or Emerald Dream. Weird, but (currently) true.

Odd given that you can use dynamic flying in them already, but in fairness many patch zones still don't allow flying period and flying was a staple feature. Firelands, Timeless Isle, Isle of Thunder, that prison island from Cata, and so on.

Regardless, still weird.

Not sure the reason for the unlock requirement for boring flying at this point anyway with how late in the expac and such.

I think it makes sense to not allow it in the Dream since that zone was designed specifically for Dragonriding and it's also going to be current content at the time, but wouldn't strongly care if people wanted bad flying in it. Their weird choice. Just don't let it work with any Dragonriding world quests.

I mean, the Titans, like every other Pantheon, are children of the Progenitors. The Titans too a lot from the First Ones, and that includes their naming ordeals. It's why things are so similar between them, like the Forge of Wills and whatnot having Titan Keeper "vessels" being forged from factories (Similar to how divine vessels are forged in Cosmic Factories like the Sepulcher), names of different forges being similar (Uldum has the Forge of Wills, and the heart of the Cosmic Pattern has the Machine of Origination), etc.

-Light and Void existed first
-Where Light didn't shine, Void grew
-Light and Void struggling -> explosion -> physical universe
-Unstable energy formed the Twisting Nether
-Shards of light implanted in matter formed life and elementals
-Clouds of light formed Naaru
-Titans formed in fiery planet cores, sending their own energy into their planets before waking up

This confuses me. The campaign alone will get you close to it. Did you never do a world quests or sniffenseeking or researchers under fire?

Personally I have grown very bored of the open world content by the end of 9.0 and barely engaged in it throghout the forbidden reach and Zaralek, been doing little more than raid logging, I think I'm like rank 10 with the moles

Given that we not only find Titan stuff on Azeroth and Draenor, but in the Emerald Dream too, it would make the most sense that Progenitors/First Ones were just what the Titans were called in the Shadowlands.

Odyn and friends are like the Eternal Ones: magic cyborgs created in factories.

Again, not really. Why did the First Ones make the cosmic forces in the first place? Why did they put titans into the physical universe, when every other "pantheon" is seemingly bound to their plane of existence?

And yes, the lore before had questions like these open as well - im just pointing out that adding the First Ones cleared up nothing and didnt add more sense to it. Its still 90% vague and unexplained.

Do we need to know those things? It's okay to have mysteries. One of the critiques lately is that we know so much about the cosmos, that there is barely any mystery left.

That's good news. Renown is a more annoying form reputation that you only had to do once in Shadowlands, then they expanded it in Dragonflight.

With the non-neutral races, at least there could be either a shared cultural value or historical/personal/political connection.

Pandas were divided over philosophy, I think.

Dracthyr chose sides based on which of their groups got randomly assigned to Wrathion or Ebyssian, who aren't even part of the Alliance or Horde.
