The only thing messy about it is the monetization, which, fair enough, they could probably slash all the prices atleast in half.

However, being able to pick what I buy will always be better than shitty gambling.

One point of the book failure is presented to the Aspects as "monsters destroying the world in green."
I think it was about the Incarnates specifically, not the primal dragons.

If he'd truly saw the latter as dangerous for Azeroth, he wouldn't have conceded to Alex's demand and would at least made some attempts to keep them from being integrated into the ordered dragon society (as they are, unchanged). Which he didn't throughout MANY years.

Him realising the eventual threat Fyrakk and his followers will present and trying to kill it in its track by having their potential numbers minimized goes well. And my personal theory of him being directly/indirectly responsible for Fyrakk learning of elemental imbuing (and thus the Incarnates' creation) would fit too.

I'd say it is a failure in that it failed to deliver the premise that they sold to us at Blizzcon.

Overwatch managed a far greater reach than the people who actually played it. Many people were following the character roster and the media while not playing the game at all. Blizzard tried to capture that crowd by selling them a proper Pve story (and probably sold quite a few units on that promise) and then failed to deliver.

It's identical to another leak we've had some time ago.

Thats true. Dont know how it works, but maybe Microsoft & Blizzard have been working/talking about a new RTS game for a while. but its not that long ago MS bought ActiBlizz, so this Blizzcon might be to soon?

I mean, that's like the biggest non-leak ever.

WyldOdyssey was stolen from another leak, and we already know it's gonna be called Odyssey.

Azeroth Reborn was also mentioned in this leak from October 29th.

Yeah, sometimes things don't work out, and Blizzard communicated that to the playerbase.

Once again, it's a free game. They didn't really sell anything to us.

The sad truth is that us 30-40 year olds are no longer the target audience for Blizzard's products, like at all.

    Fake.
Dude knows about regular Rumble bullshit but calls Magua some Dwayne Johnson looking hero. I played OW last time 4 years ago and even i heard about Magua. Dude surely is just larping.

Absolutely too soon. But there are other things that may happen now. They could announce that they are picking up WC3: Reforge and will deliver on the initial promise (and might even be close to a new launch, that one is a win they have to go for imo since it is the biggest breach of trust with their playerbase other than the scandals imo). They could announce a SC mobile game and just throw a tiny teaser for a new SC game saying it is nowhere near launch like Bethesda did with ES6

You were the target audience when you were 15 years old.

Looks like everything in those two leaks matches.

Easy to dismiss as fake though since the first one didn't really understand how Blizzcon schedules go. The big reveals are always all in the keynote, not spread throughout the panels.

Yeah, this is becoming painfully obvious.

Many peoople have never played Overwatch, myself included. I would have had zero clue about whatever Magua is.

No credible logo leak, nor even a credible expansion name leak via domain stuff. That seems unprecedented. Intuitively makes it more likely those screenshot and website leaks were real after all then, since they are the only ones that conceivably could be from actual promo material. The Tyr questline conclusion is going to have to some extremely heavy lifting to carry us from Dragonflight into an Avaloren expac if that ends up happening. Seems very disappointing to again have the build up to an expansion only materialize in the game post announcement. This isn't how you build hype for the future of wow, imo
I'm still 60/40 leaning on fakes. There are some weird things that don't add up for me, but could easily be from the pics being stills of a video, so no idea
Anyway in all honesty Blizzard has a glaring problem of space. The "old guard" up until legion just re-used old places and characters (except for Pandaria) without building meaningfull new stories. Now they must set their stories somewhere, revamping EK/Kalimdor and setting them here is an option, while creating new landmasses is another one. I think Avaloren is going to happen one way or another.

One issue here is if Blizzard would really make two expacks so similar one after the other. But I have no idea, so let's wait and see.

i think you vastly underestimate how many weebs are into WoW. I like Warcraft, but also all the weeb stuff, anime, manga, not so much into music, but i could see other people be into it, and i am 35, so prime WoW veteran.

I think WoW has too many loud edgy boys who can't admit that weeby stuff is cool.

I firmly believe Blizzard are fundamentally wrong to no longer cater to 30-40yo dudes, and this is partly the reason why it looses its playerbases. In my opinion for teenagers their games suck, so in result they fail with both demographics.

Valorant is way more popular yes but lets not act like its any better than Overwatch.
