It's the Void Lords for sure.

Even if we think macro-macro, the First Ones set everything up but either aren't around or aren't malicious. It's implied that they're dead anyway; the Void is the thing that, while existing in it's own reality, is seeping into all other realities and trying to overtake them. None of the other forces have the means or the intent to do that.

So even if the Light/Denathrius do show up to cause some fucking shit, the Void is the one with the real means and plan to do things. Even the Titans are pawns in whatever game Iridikron and Xala'tath are playing with the Void, and Azshara is involved in this too somehow

I think Blizzard presenters mostly ranged from good to great. Recently watched few panels from 2013 to 2015, and Metzen, Pardo, the guys who made SC2 and HotS were pretty well spken and hyping up.
Later it was Ben Brode.

Brode was almost as good as Metzen and everyone in that team was solid. Kaplan was great for OW as well.

I have a theory that Iridikron wants to become the New God.

To elaborate - he struck the bargain with Xal'tath - he helps her to get her power back from 4 other Old Gods, in return she makes Iridikron her consort or at least share that power with him.
Together they free Azeroth from Titan Keeper presence and Iridikron un-orders his kin.

Unrionically if they will announce even boring expansion but with the whole new cosmetic Glyph System, where each glyph makes some spell look differently, that would make me buy expansion.
Like imagine 30-50+ Glyphs for each class.
You fill the bar with AP, you then use that AP to unlock whatever Glyph you want. You can preview the result before spending power. Each spell would have at least few different color and animation variations.
Would you grind AP if its purely for cosmetics spell customization?

But how do you see such an expansion working?

Let's assume Khaz Algar is underneath Silithus. It's close enough to have a sprawling underground zone that goes as far as Kezan/Undermine (since the island is relatively close to Silithus).

But Azjol-Nerub is in Northrend. How can Underground expansion contain Khaz Algar/Silithus, Undermine/Kezan, and Azjol-Nerub/Northrend? Impossible.

Argus, Emerald Dream look likes a scrapped expansion idea used later as a content patch, maybe now it's Azjol-Nerub chance.


With Nozdormu talking about some events were worth changing, maybe we can go back in time in Azjol-Nerub to "fix" something from the past.


Was sad the "Cavern of time" concept was scrapped: with the right tech and story, could be used on a whole area, instead on a single raid/dungeon.
We can go back in time.. fix stuff and when we came back to our current time-line, the zone is revamped. Blizzard can even revamp Azeroth in that way.. piece by piece.
