I think expecting something other than 4 zones 8 dungeons after they cut two expansions in a row short is not unreasonable.

Agreed, I'm hoping for another class or a race or 2, as well as an engaging system that ties into PVE power, or an evergreen system like Housing.

A combination of one of those sytems and either that class or race will make it a pretty hype reveal imo.

Of course, preparing yourself to be disappointed and limiting hopium prevents major disappointments... but where's the fun and join in that?

See even if there is tons more for them I still have a problem with introducing a new area and making it so themepark that THOSE four environments coexist. Especially that final image.

I think it is, precisely because they seem to be cutting off DF early. Even if it's just a commitment to releasing 11.0 in late summer, that would still be something.
WoW is the big cashcow, and the reception to DF fixing a bunch of stuff gives them a bunch of momentum that it would be insane to give up on by implictly stating all expansions going forward will be "failed" ones.

There doesn't seem to be an official global release date.
Pretty much all UK online book stores have it either not listed at all, listed as unavailable or as not yet released.
Amazon is not shipping it outside the US.

So, it's either Nov. 7th, as that is when the kindle version comes out, or some other time.

that's a bummer as I was looking forward to something before Blizzcon

It's such a random collection of stuff though. Even if I feel compelled to believe in it simply for the removal of transmog restrictions.

I don't think it's particularly random.

We've been speculating a Khaz + Revamp for a while.
Old God involvement is usually a given, especially with the setup they've been doing this expansion.
And they tied Artificers to the Earthen.
Which is not exactly far-fetched for a titanforged race.

Only Path of the Titans and the transmog restrictions stick out.
And the former only really does that because of the developmental history of that name.


As for EK, idk, maybe i missed some riddles, but i'm pretty sure they mentioned no loading screens and draenei/Belf starting zones in the last few.

Wod was super well received until the launch day when almost everybody was stuck in their garrison trying to look through a telescope. It's probably the most hyped expansion after legion.

One thing that could be interesting with 4 distinct environments is if the continent is some kind of Titan testing facility where they house their experiments and designs in individual biomes to test them in different conditions.

This somehow reminds me of when HotS (heart of the swarm) ending was leaked and nobody trusted it as it was an early asset (and 2 years before the expansion came out I think ?)
