Just a little silly theory. Spitballing, basically.

    Azeroth - Phase 0 - Elemental World

Just elementals everywhere. They ruled the planet, and there was no life. There's peace and harmony, with all the elements co-existing. But it doesn't last long.

    Azeroth - Phase 1 - Disorder World

Still elementals everywhere. But Azeroth's world-soul is slurping Spirit energy so the elementals are a bit chaotic. Spirit is what brings harmony. This is tumultous time, with Elemental Lords and their forces waging war on each other. As the world-soul grows, more Spirit is consumed.

    Azeroth - Phase 2 - Void World

Old Gods slam into Azeroth, seeking to infest it and claim the soul, and they eventually form the Black Empire near the center of Azeroth's largest continent.
War breaks out as the Elemental Lords band together to fight the Black Empire. But they lose, and are enslaved as a result.
The Old Gods start fighting each other in an endless civil war. "Only one would remain to consume the others."

    Azeroth - Phase 3 - Order World

The Titans arrive and wage war on the Old Gods, through the titan-forged. First they beat the Elemental Lords and seal them in the Elemental Plane, and then Aman'Thul ripped Y'Shaarj out from the world, fearing he was too powerful for the titan-forged to beat. This caused the Well of Eternity.
The Titans then decided to imprison the remaining Old Gods, rather than take them out the same way. This ended the Black Empire.
The Ordering of Azeroth began, as the titan-forged shaped Kalimdor into a perfect continent.

Azeroth - Phase 4 - Living (and Dead) World

Life soon spread on Azeroth, both evolving naturally (seemingly enhanced by the Well of Eternity) and through the Curse of Flesh. The titan-forged took the backseat.
But life also brings death, and the great cycle was now the dominant force at play on Azeroth. Civilizations grew and faded away. Heroes were born, and they died. Bloodlines were started. Entire races of people came into being.

    Azeroth - Phase 5 - Light World?

    So what comes next? Well.

Tyr is associated with the Light. He's basically the father of all Paladins on Azeroth. His order is being reformed as we speak (the Tyr's Guard).

Odyn is associated with the Light. He used light-based abilities before he became a little bit infatuated with storms, he lives in a palace of light and has built an army of holy warriors (by the looks of it).

We've also got the Argent Crusade on the march, threatening to take Lordaeron, as well as a Paladin and Commander of the Army of Light serving as regent of Stormwind - the mightiest kingdom on Azeroth.

This has me thinking that, even if it doesn't happen right away, Light might be in the future for WoW. The question remains if it'll happen during 11.0, or if they'll perhaps save it for the distant future.

    EDIT

Oh, and another thought. Why did the Well of Eternity cause life to blossom, unless there's more to it? For example, is Azeroth inherently life-affiliated, was Elune already a force on Azeroth before everybody else, influencing the Well of Eternity (essentially Azerite) to act as a life-booster specifically? Did she seed life on Azeroth in so doing? Or, was Elun'Ahir pivotal, having been the real reason why Aman'Thul accidentally created the Well of Eternity, and its roots then seeding life on Azeroth from within the primal realms of Life?

MMOs were also a niche genre until WoW exploded. Hero shooters were small scale and then Overwatch blew up (it was mismanaged from here on out but that's another topic). ARPGs aren't that big outside of Path of Exile but Diablo 3 and 4 still sold tons. Heck Starcraft 2 itself was released back when companies hardly took a second look at RTS games and it still sold very well. Despite it all Blizzard is still capable of selling a game to a huge audience almost no matter what it is. They just need to put some effort into it.

Doesn't mean I believe WC4 will happen or anything. Not when Blizz showed such a lack of care for Reforged and are going for a survival game, of all things, with their new IP. But I do feel like it could have happened had they done it properly.

If nothing else I'd definitely like them to actually use the Starcraft IP on something at least, so it isn't gathering dust. I get it's the least popular of their big three IPs but still, you don't make things more popular by not using them.

We still have 2 more days, but so far I'm impressed how they improved security compared to Blizzcon 2019 when literally every game had leak.

Outland is falling apart and dying. Unless they want to send us back there AGAIN, they would need a lore reason to go there and a lore reason as to why its no longer falling apart.

Honestly I feel a bit the same.
Underground zones have never really worked, having an entire expansion underground is a death sentence.

Though thankfully it’s likely the most “underground” we’d be getting is a dwarven city given the 4 zone screenshots.

hey friends. today was main stage rehearsals, so main stage hall was closed off entirely to us workers. this was the first of 2 rehearsals the second is tomorrow night.

obviously due to this i saw nothing of what was shown, and due to construction making noise it was hard to make out what they were saying. but they did play a video that was narrated by a woman very clearly. i can say with 99% certainty that it wasn't sylvanas or jaina that was speaking. it could have been azshara but i have my doubts, it wasn't crystal clear audio exactly. female voice, kinda sultry is what i could make out of it.

tomorrow you will get actual 11.0 leaks, i guarantee it. photos and all. construction is 90% done, it's the minor stuff left now. merch rolls in sometime after lunch tomorrow and there will 110% be a leak of said merch, so a t-shirt with a logo, or some art print is going to end up here without a shadow of a doubt. if it doesn't, i'll post my workers id badge on here on lunch time friday.

I noticed the same thing about the staff and the dagger. At this point if Blizzard has gone to this lengths just to troll us the joke's on them honestly

Depends on the underground. It can be anything. It may as well be Siofra and more

No matter what other people say, it is absolutely worth putting your job at risk to get us some leaks.

Cool points won't pay your rent, but you will be living rent free in our minds.

Someone said the new cinematic will be narrated by Xalatath. So… this could have been her voice.

Grateful for their info if true, but this is a braindead take.

How could this even work if it’s not a prequel? Right, it couldn’t. Anything related to the future of Warcraft story will happen in WoW unless they retread some former WoW storylines like Legion.

    "Construction."

They're assembling a few monitors and putting up some stands, not building a skyscraper.

This is a bad take, there's alot more to setting up than just "a few monitors and stands", I find your post hugely disrespectful sorry.

Tell me you know nothing about a large con without telling me.

The amount of man hours and technical setup for this shit is colossal. It's why Blizzcon is a net monetary loss for Blizzard every time they do it.

When they reveal their badge and it turns out it was Chris Metzen all along it will be a second end of an era.
