    That would be funny.

It's a deep fissure located in the Emerald Dream, and it's a source of strange energy. Druids originally thought it's the source of the Emerald Dream. It's located in Lake Elune'ara in the real world.

This fits the Fissure, and the Titan stuff being under northern Kalimdor. It's generally associated with Old Gods
What if the Titan facility is in the dream? Khaz Algar being located in the dream where it was hidden from the druids of Azeroth. Earthen there are changed by the dream and kept the facility hidden even from the Titans eventually. 10.3 Khaz Algar to get more time in the dream, leading to old god that was contained in the dream where they did experiments. That gets released and boom, next void expansion.

Apparently, Wrathion is getting his own statue.

Wrathion major character in 11.0 confirmed?

In before Rift of Aln is the name of Odyssey game.
Concept art depicted portal from our world to fantasy one. Maybe thats the rift leading to fantasy world(s).
And its just fun coincidence or intentional connection to Warcraft setting.

    In case it was missed.

Here is something directly from the book it was introduced in.

But in one small corner of the Emerald Dream, in a vast, deep
fissure, known to the druids as the Rift of Aln and believed to be
where the magical realm itself first originated, even the combined
efforts of the archdruid and the high priestess could not entirely
end the struggle. The Nightmare held firmly in that place, which
those of Malfurion’s calling believed bled into the Twisting Nether
and the Great Dark Beyond. Gazing into it, Malfurion saw it as a
bottomless chasm which radiated with primeval energies that even
he dared not investigate. Indeed, the very rift itself seemed halfdream, for it had a surreal quality to its expanse and to the
archdruid now and then seemed to ripple as if ready to fade or
    change

Yes, it's the Xavius "prison" in the Emerald Nightmare.

Now, that sounds an awful lot like those Scaleface leaks

Tbh, now that he isn't an Aspect of trying to become one, I fully expect to see him more helping out in future expansions, taking over Dadgar's role

Yet the 10.2 patch is Emerald Dream. A place we have interacted with one way or another since vanilla.

It's possible ish. But we 100% know there is some sort of Titan vault in Darkshore.
We know, 100%, that it had Earthen.

We know this, because Troggs show up in Darkshore.

That's right there, next to moonglade.

I do think this is something potentially solid. Not real, but a solid possibility.

Rift of Aln kicked in flashbacks of 7.0 Legion, when people speculated a TON about that portal and what it ment for a future.
Maybe with Metzen back he decided to turn the narrative back into what they built up back in Legion.

And with lack of any leaks.

IT looks like next expac is Dragonflight 2.0 which is meh and imo will kill retail lol.

I will gladly be proven wrong but how they do things in game right now and 10.2 I expect they will make less people playing like Dragonflight did.
I'm gonna pre-order it Day one cus i'm gonna be playing new expansion anyway atleast for 3-4 weeks. Stop telling people what to do.

Man, saying something like this more and more makes me fear Khadgar's mortality status. To me, there's few main characters more on a chopping block for shocking sad death than Khadgar right now.

Or, which is more likely, he was originally supposed to be the Aspect but they changed course. By the time they decided it the statue would have already be produced. Same with Merithra and Ysera.

Troggs aren't Earthen. That was something retconned a while ago. Troggs were just the first things the Keepers made, Earthen were the second.

Can ercarp give us a definitive answer as to which leak first referred to the acronym of the expansion being SoA?

Rift of Aln host has been added first time in 2021

    edit:

    Also calltoarms.worldofwarcraft.com since 2019?

    https://crt.sh/?q=.worldofwarcraft.com
The 8.2 "leak" of Shadowlands also had an "Alnir Riftlands" on its map. https://i.imgur.com/5S7McrG.jpg

I don't know if that's ever been proven to be fake and not an early draft of Shadowlands, but at least someone was thinking about it post-Legion
