I just hope we aren't going Avaloren. I don't want more boring god killing because it just ends up being so one dimensional. It's why I wasn't fond of Legion's ending.

Yup, and two seperate capitals from Trashran. One of those capitals being Karabor. The Black Temple. Shattrath raid was expected later but you can just go there and see it was clearly going to be something. Still can't get in the middle there

WoD had so much squandered promise and why I really want an Outland revamp, to try and bring some of that promise back and try to deal with Outland's many, many, MANY rough edges from being the first expansion

Shattrath Raid was on a map they showed during a Blizzcon Panel, never really in the game. But early versions had a shield around it. Later versions made the shield transparent and allowed travel inside.

Tanaan was supposed to be like the Vale. An Endgame Questing Hub. Early Versions are still up on Youtube if you wanna check it out, no quests just general aesthetics....im 50/50 on the new Tanaan. I really do not think the Blood Orcs could have sustained an entire zones story without the Legion interference and lets be honest, HFC was pretty fucking cool.

Another major change I didn't speak on. Originally the expansion was not some dumb multiverse shit. It was actual Time Travel. Dadgar's Tower was actually its own zone, like the Tavern in the Mists from MoP, and it was protected by the Bronze Dragons like an "Out of Time" Place. You can also find that on youtube. Honestly this change is the one that I bet the developers regret the most because it would have slam dunked the, in my opinion, to this day, 2nd worst lore development in all of WoW "One Legion across all universes".

So as someone who does not want to read through 2.4k posts is there a general consensus by the community which leaked info seems the most plausible/trustworthy? Because I am not going to lie, from what I have read and seen I am feeling kinda meh. Nothing about the "leaked screenshots" jumps out to me and makes me excited like expansions past... at the same time, HD updates to several of the creatures shown kinda fits in line with the past few expansions updating older creatures like Quillboar, hyenas, etc.

My gut tells me Blizzcon is going to be a let down though. My gut tells me its going to be another Dragonflight trailer that feels like it's lacking substance (Not saying Dragonflight was a bad expansion, I really enjoyed it the trailer just felt super boring) and that I am going to walk away feeling meh.

Idk, maybe I am just losing my love for WoW but it genuinely feels like its been a while since I have gotten really excited for an expansion.

It's way more reliable though. It depends where you live, but my experience with Twitch is long ads, buffering and the inability to rewind. YouTube seems to have much better servers to my country - even though it's sometimes delayed by at most 10 seconds, the experience is overall smoother.

Those 4 screenshots are the best shot we have right now but I wouldn't fret. Its really hard to judge content from screenshots. If it is real I am sure the reveal will be more than worth it.

We've not seen anything credible, our go-to leakers like Scaleface haven't got a clue. The images are the most plausible. But I see clear use of AI on the artwork depicting the storm dwarf, so I don't believe it.
