The 3rd pic is definitely a fake, you can see the background going through his waist, I'm usually quite gullible with leaks but you can see this as clear as day.
last day before blizzcon, and still nothing solid that is convincing. I think i go into the camp "no expansion" and if there is an expansion i'm in camp "timetravel".
All this Khaz Algar/Avaloren stuff was never really convincing for me either. Sure, the algarian stormrider might be something, might be nothing too, like the Shadowlands Heroic Edition Ensorcelled Everwyrm was nothing but a hub fly mount, with at most its description that tells us about shadowlands. And the Dragonflight Tangled Dreamweaver just makes sense in the 10.2 patch of DF. but not before, we didn't get a emerald dream expansion. As such the Algarian Stormrider is at best a hub flypath mount or something for a later patch.
I remember Legion coming out of blue back in 2015 and thinking what if Blizzard will drop Sargeras/Illidan vs Void out of blue upon us this time.
I hardly see why we would ave a progression system called path of the elements when only one class is connected to them (shaman). But everybody used anima back then which were mostly the same damage type so it can still happens (even if it would be weird on a titan focused expansion). Another thing that makes me consider the authenticity of this leak is the fact Blizzard hasn't been talking about progression system in a feature trailer since Legion. They never mention the HoA in BFA or anima in SL.
Feels weird to advertize race / class combinations when it became a patch worthy content. I mean, DF brought some of them and they didn't even mentionned it in expansion introduction I think ? Also, when you compare it to Cataclysm, the thing is split on two lines when they somehow manage to have big sentences like New character progression.
Again with the quality of the image provided it's hard to say anything else so it's just going to be a wait and see. Wouldn't mind having more race / class combo but I would also be disappointed if it was sold as one of the big feature of the expansion instead of a new class / race or a big bunch of new character custom / important step up like more body types.
We already have something very similar in Dragonflight; it's called Renown.
It's not it. They're specifically talking about Artifact Weapons/Heart of Azeroth type, the so-called "infinite" borrowed power grinds.
Anyway, I'm sure some people will like another take on Borrowed Power, but these content creators and world-first players think it'll save Retail.

lemme say just there is no way they are adding a class named Artificer... look at all the other class names, all super simple names:
Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Monk, Druid, Demon Hunter, Death Knight, Evoker.
There is no way they are adding one that is a four-syllable one-word class name no one has ever heard of in the context of Warcraft.
Yeah, we will get the captain obvious easy Cata Classic (duh easy money) and a "standard" xpac.
My weirdest, most stupid and not-happening speculation is that retail & classic merge together. With Chromie so active on retail, she will take us all back to an alternate timeline - classic +. A different timeway with new stuff.
of course not going to happen lol
In my taste Renown cosmetic rewards in DF suck in 90% of cases. I like some simple shoulderpads Maruuk sold, but the rest factions offered something that looked really underwhelming to make me want to grind reputation.
I hope the cosmetic system, if it will be implemented, would look cool and good enough to motivate players grind an expansion. Its only the matter of how good cosmetics look.
If they'd put raid level of quality items behind renown, id surely grind it. Bronze two polygon swords and shield in Valdrakken? Nah, not going to bother.
