Uh why would Algari and Agg'ora be the main new races and Vrykul and Tanuka come later as allied races? Wouldn’t Blizzard make the far more popular races the actual new races for the expansion since races we’ve actually seen in the game and have a following would be more of an incentive to buy the expansion?

Also has Blizzaed ever made an unseen race into a playable race in the history of WoW?

For what it's worth in the debate over support specs, I just noticed now that Graham Berger, the lead designer of Evokers including Augmentation, left Blizzard this past month and is now at Ghostcrawler's new studio. Something to keep in mind if we don't hear anything about new support specs this weekend.

Well I believe the Drac'thyr were created out of thin air for Dragonflight. And the Vulpera were brand new too. Void Elves/Lightforged Draenei/Mechagnomes were also brand new concepts I believe, just based on existent races.

The Voyage to Azeroth thing is describing The Four Screenshots leak, fleshed out.

Weirdly the part that makes it feel weirdly more likely to me is the Taunka. Can't explain why.

They definitely do pass around false info to try and plug leaks but it could also just be a misunderstanding of earlier in development info that the leaker didn't have access to anymore.

Latter definitely possible. I could see a world where original design for DF was to make 10.3 a Dawn of the Infinites RAID and instead opted to minimize its role and delegate to mega-dungeon throughout development. Decision likely due to shortening expansion gaps.

They DID do this in Cataclysm iirc, with the Well of Eternity originally being slated as a raid.

Well yeah, but we still encountered Draenei in WC3. Granted that version became the Broken, but still we had actually encountered Draenei in some form before. Algari and Agg'ora sound like something someone just made up.

I'm still desperately hanging on to the idea of the website and zone screenshots being fake, but for those that believe in them, the Voyage to Avaloren feels like the best match so far.

The name is unconventional, sure, but so was Battle for Azeroth when it was announced.

Also just because it doesnt mention a feature, doesnt mean there isn't one.

For that matter, why would the leaker be aware of potential future content? You would assume that if this was the case then it would be a BfA AR situation where you have several Allied Races that are announced concurrently.
And if the idea is that the ARs are spread like the BfA ones, then why are we getting the Avaloren races first, and the ones that could come from anywhere second?

I trust them, but it's possible the person they got the confirmation from was lied to. And it's also possible this is all a grand hoax orchestrated by @Shadochi themselves.
