The logic behind the meh response to the 4 screenshot leak is pretty sound: it looks like more of the same we had this last year (and the coming year, since the expac doesn't come out for like a year). If it's more of the same, why even bother, is my thinking

The four zones scream "AI FAKE".

They're very good at fooling people at a glance, but I feel like it all kind of falls apart when you start looking at them more closely.

Every expansion has been a solid step up in zone design. Things have continuously gotten more ambitious and more grand in their execution.

There's no chance they would suddenly completely phone it in and go back to creating zones that look like they're from several expansions ago.

my buddy is part of the event staff at anaheim convention center. he's worked with the center post-covid quite a bit but this will obviously be the first blizzcon he's working.

him and his crew set up dozens of desktops to be used for the various blizzard titles throughout the weekend. he said that part of their setup process is to make sure they can launch every game on the launcher without any hiccups and that while launching WoW he saw two things: the game version said "Public Test Realm (WoW 11.0.0)" or something similar, but upon launching you could see the new login screen... where the heck is this expac taking us?!

I'm smart enough not to click on this (I'm 95% sure it's EoA login screen). You soulless monster playing with our emotions! /sarcasm
