I had the same pattern of thoughts - but there is no chance Blizzard would use the word “Shadow” in a new expansion so soon after Shadowlands. Both because of aesthetics, but also because Shadowlands was widely criticized.

I was thinking the same, it's too soon to reuse shadows for anything like an expansion name

Regardless of a revamp or not, I think Reclamation of Gilneas will happen in 10.2.5 as they disappeared from Stormwind but don't seem to be in the 10.2 files (so not at the dream tree, or the grown tree)

Gilneas reclamation and cleanup could be a cool prepatch event. Horde and alliance work together to clean the zone and city up. Horde for reperations and alliance cause you know.

Or Gilneas cleanup for alliance, Undercity cleanup for the horde. Something like that.

As for Gilneas I’d say come and make us give reparations but uh… y’all absolutely could so please no.

Fully agreed I’d argue it’s one of the biggest unsolved mysteries and could dramatically change, well, everything.

It’s literally an ore which makes people geniuses.
