At the end of the Emerald Nightmare raid wasnt there a void tentacle in a cave and a ghost-like Ysera would walk to it and dissappear?

Maybe it was subtle hinting all those years ago that after we go to the emerald dream, Ysera would somehow connect us to a void xpac

We already dealt with that in I think BfA, sadly. (Really, another potential expansion hook wasted in that terrible fanfic of an "expansion" ...)

Its just that the whole cosmetic thing needs to be kept permanent after 11.0.

My main skepticism of this leak is that it’s not obvious why an underground city would have mounts called Algarian *Stormriders*. There could be storms underground from some magical source I guess, but the much more obvious answer to me is that the mount points to the Storming Sea/western continent idea.

It's clear the Void have been trying to infiltrate the Emerald Dream for a long time now. We don't know how the Fyrakk fight ends.

Given that we're potentially on the cusp of a potential void-based expansion, maybe something happens during the encounter that's going to join the dots. There's no way Fyrakk just falls over and dies with no consequence.

well, Fyrakks axe can cut rifts between planes, that's how he enters the dream. So maybe in his last moments he throws the axe and it lands near the rift of aln, causing it to rapidly grow, creating a big rift to whatever is on the other side of the Rift of Aln.

Honestly, if they bring back artifacts it should be weapons without AP grind, with bosses still dropping their own weapons as cosmetic items for transmog. Not that dumb necklace lol.

Yeah, this tripped me up too (along with the Heart of Azeroth returning). My guess is it's gonna be a Hollow Earth type of situation full of different biomes and weather etc.

If Nyalotha was originally supposed to be in the Shadowlands, it was probably pointing at how it could pull souls out of the Dream.

Otherwise, it might have been a hint that Ysera's ghost isn't fully herself. There's the Ilgynoth quote at the end of BfA about treachery coming from the "vassal of life," and in Shadowlands, weird stuff happens with Ysera's life seed when the player gets there which ends up empowering/awaking her early. N'Zoth in BfA apparently considered the player character his chosen one and we were manipulated into freeing him.

Changing a letter in riftofaln leads just gives an error saying that the page doesn't exist. That means riftofaln is definitely something (or was supposed to be something ages ago).
