This is what happens when there's virtually no conflict or faction tension going on... Time just progresses, nothing major happens, the only major thing that happened was a wedding... and even then Kurog Grimtotem actually crashed the wedding in order to set up DF.

And no, Blizzard said plainly that due to technical reasons they went with the Dracthyr.
Blizz can say it all they want. They’ve said many things in the past. Doesn’t make it the truth.

Having powers of dragons doesn’t make them dragons. Someone having the ability to be a mage doesn’t make them a mage. Dracthyr were a stupid idea. Fun to play but nothing like what I wanted.

Again, Mok’thal or however you spell it. Rexxar. Is he an orc? An ogre? Of course not.

If none of the supposed leaks turn out to be true tomorrow, this will be the best Blizzcon.

    The very first leakproof Blizzcon.

This is exactly what I was speculating about back on page 2495. I believe it!

Canon lore that can change and be altered at any time. Again, Blizzard said they're playable dragons, and that's what they are. You still haven't come up with any mechanical reason why they're not dragons. All you have is "lore" that is used as window-dressing to justify their physical difference from the building sized dragons we can't play as due to technical limitations.

If they do another time skip, that's fine by me. Just a bit confused by the point of the first one.
I thought it was mostly to justify why things were already so relatively setup on the Dragon Isles. But honestly I'm still kinda dubious what exactly was going on on the Dragon Isles before the dragons returned (pretty sure it wasn't actually a sleeping beauty or frozen time scenario)

Another reason why Khaz Algar will be the next expansion, and another bonus point for "Shadow Over Azeroth" leak:

The Dwarves/Earthen are the only Major race left that still don't have a continent themed after them.

Humans have Kul Tiras, Orcs Draenor, Elves the Broken Isles, Undead Northrend, Trolls Zandalar.

The Dwarves/Earthen currently don't have a continent that seeped in their lore and flowing with their aesthetic.

So Khaz Algar/Underground will be the next continent and heavily feature Dwarven/Earthen lore and aesthetics.

And as blizzard has always operated new lore is canon over old lore, and as of the latest piece of lore on them they are no longer dragons.
All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.

Above that, I don't know... I'd be surprised and impressed if Blizzard really manages a no-leak expac announcement this year.
Either they kept it really close, or no one thought it'd be worth leaking.
Or it already has been leaked, and we dismissed it thinking it couldnt be real.

    Dunno what's worse.

Why would they show the end of the raid before it opens in two weeks? Fake lol

If this is true I’m excited NGL. Please Naga and Queen Azshara. Naga Artificers could be fun considering they have to figure out how to live in the depths.

To marry Lorthemar and Thalyssra, uwu. The skip is even bigger if you include SL.

Uh if you're a class in WoW and have all the powers of a mage, then yes you're a mage. If you're a race/class in WoW with all the powers of a dragon, then yeah you're a dragon.

Except in the announcement where they call them a “Drakonid, Draconic race” and very specifically call them “Draconic humanoids” instead of “dragons” but you forget about that.
Or the quick start guide on Dracthyr…

& the canon lore from Zaralek/Aberrus, etc that shows they’re more Drakonid than dragon. (Hell one of the proto-Dracthyr is a straight up Drakonid too)

Besides nowhere does it say they’re actual dragons. Even Wowpedia/wowwiki makes that distinction.

Exactly, it's okay for the world to not be yo-yo-ing from one threat to another. Gilneas going back to the Worgen, Night Elves relocating to Amirdrissil, Forsaken making endways on rebuilding Lordaeron.
