I think they didn't get enough exposition to provide a fully-fledged expansion revolving around them. But that's how I look at this.

Are they? I just looked at the first census I could find and Zandalari were the most popular Allied Race, though you could have a better census than me.

Kinda besides the point tho, you want void elves to play a role cause its the void and it's relevant, I don't think popularity should factor into that, just letting the void elves have a role.

Frankly, Goblins, Gnomes, and Worgen are way more deserving of lore attention. They’ve been homeless since Cataclysm and vanilla.
