I'm confused why people keep saying Cata already did what we're asking for now.

Cata made flying possible, stitched some weird zones together, flooded Thousand Needles, added some new quest lines, and put some new POI areas in old zones.

What we're all saying right now is that the entire old world needs to completely be updated. Not minor patchwork stuff, not plopping in new little visual areas, not just altering a water table or manipulating existing low res-low poly sections.

Yes, but as expansion content. EK & Kalimdor should be the setting for the new expansion, meaning 70+ content only. It would be really gratifiying for your leveling experience to feel the passage of time that way.

They did it for like 90% of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms.

But then there are Northrend, Pandaria, Broken Isles, Zandalar, Kul'Tiras, Dragon Isles... if it's an Azeroth revamp. They could leave out Outland/Draenor and Shadowlands.

I don't actually want some half assed revamp where only a fraction of zones are revamped. If a revamp is happening, they need to revamp the whole world - leave the old world for Chromie time.

I would agree a return to all these places eventually, but there's no reason to update them if nothing new is happening there. Only EK & Kalimdor have had a lot of significant changes considering a world war happened since catalcysm.

Yeah! They're very similar. Looking at the pages for them it seems like Irish is a mix of ceylon and assam, and Scottish is ceylon, assam, keemun and yunnan teas. Don't ask me to describe the flavor, lol, it's been a while since I've had either, but I definitely preferred Scottish.
