I would wager the average consumer doesn't know jack shit about Avaloren at all considering it is just mentioned in a random lore book that you can easily miss the existence of if you don't follow fan sites.

I’d be curious to know what percentage of potential players have their line in the sand on either the name or location of the expansion. I can’t imagine it to be so many that you’d structure your game development around it.

I feel like the average wow player who doesn't know lore probably didn't know what the Shadowlands entailed either, it just sounds cool on the ear.

Nah Odyn is the one who kept trying to reach it and all the expeditions he sent failed. More like the magical gas of anti-Odyn.

They could break new ground with the first title that's a question:
    Sleeping or Awake?
    Where's Magni?
    Have You Seen Thrall's Balls?
    The Legion, Again?
    Khadgar, Will You Marry Me?
    Who is Azeroth's Dad?

Personally, I'm just hoping that everything is wrong and whatever they have cooking is at least half as decent as Dragonflight.

And if Blizzard was worried about the marketing potential of World of Warcraft expansion names they wouldn't have casually called their expansion to follow up their two darkest expansion stories ever, "Mists of Pandaria" at the height of Kung Fu Panda's popularity.

Exactly! I think it would be great entertainment as well, to post here or in Reddit with a gotcha. Or even better to do it right at Blizzcon, time permitting.

No one leaked Satyrs, someone mistook the leak as Satyr

I can't remember where the name Battle for Azeroth came from just before the announcement... but I do remember people trying to type in the page for Warlords of Draenor to confirm that was really the name of the next expansion.
I don't know what they're talking about, to be honest.

Could be the trademarks yeah, but that hasn't leaked anything for a few expansions now, BfA was the last one.

We got the Dragonflight name confirmed thanks to source code on the regular site, so not through domain registration as it was also just a subdomain (which one doesn't have to register the same way as top level domains).

We did see a SSL certificate being issued for dragonflight.blizzard.com (I think after the source code leak), with emphasis on it being a blizzard.com subdomain and not Battle.net, so that's probably why people are keeping an eye on certificates, but they're also being far too paranoid and focusing on any subdomain they can't explain.

Please someone explain to me how and why people are denying this. This is LITERALLY the expansion domain registration, THIS IS IT

This is so weird to see. Are people just plugging their ears or something? I mean it’s so incredibly obvious that this is it…lol, how are people seriously debating this?
Why do people like you ignore incredibly reliable and intelligent people explaining why that domain exists and that's been renewed multiple times since 2017.....
