Technically, Azeroth only has one continent. Everything is part of the same tectonic plate - it was just blown up to pieces and places separated by water during the sundering.

To a point, but 1-60 in Cata Azeroth is absolute trash - that needs to be a timewalking thing and we need a revamp that will be somewhat similar to the original 1-60, just modernised.

Huh? It already is? Have you just never heard of Chromie Time? If you want a more modern 1 - 60, you just choose Legion, BFA or Shadowlands to level in. There's no reason to have another option of leveling experience if every expansion adds a new one.

You people that want Kalimdor/EK updated; what would the stories be in all the zones? All the quests revolving around the Alliance/Horde conflict needs to be replaced. What would be the story in Elwynn/Westfall/Redridge be? Are zones like Duskwood and Felwood cleansed? Should the stories be evergreen content that works in every expansion after the revamp, or should it reflect current main story? Because we probably won't get another revamp for atleast 10 years - if the game is even here still then.

Did you miss the part where Iridikron is bringing a billion year old space monster to attack the planet? That. That is what would be happening in those locations. I did also write up a treatment that utilized existing lore (and Vyranoth's particular resentment toward the post-titans world that has an intense focus on in the new book) that would create conflict throughout the entire oldworld:

Okay here's my official prediction slash bingo card checklist

• 10.3 won't have a new zone, but will feature Iridikron at a Titan Facility, who is trying to deactivate the planets defenses against cosmic threats, IE the Harbinger
• Vyranoth, kind of betrays us, in that she helps us fight Iridikron but takes that opportunity to deactivate the technology keeping the Elemental Planes in their own pocket dimension, much like how Koranos deactivated the apparatus that locked away the Dragon Isles in Dragonflight's opening cinematic. She does this not to cause destruction but because she sincerely believes the world was better without the Titans.
• This causes the old world revamp and is the setting of the new expansion. It's not a recreation of Kalimdor & the Eastern Kingdoms, but an entirely new geography as if the Titans had never taken the lands that became the elemental planes & removed them from the planet. It's not exactly like it was before the titans showed up because the Sundering & Cataclysm still happened. Existing kingdoms still exist but have been shifted. For example, Lordaeron, Amirdrassil & Silvermoon might be walking distance from each other in a way that none of those factions will be pleased about.
• Khaz Algar & Avaloren are other locations that was hidden away, now returned to the rest of the planet, but they are also merged with existing old world wilderness. Complete with new races of Dwarves & Rebellious Anti-Titan Keepers & Watchers.
• The theme of the expansion is "Cosmic Elements" in that this new version of Azeroth is thrown into new conflict with the coming of the Harbinger & Freed Elemental Lords. Iridikron expected the Titans to arrive to fight the Harbinger but they are busy keeping Sargeras imprisoned. Instead the Forces of the Necrolords & Naaru arrive to end the assualts on the Sunwell, World Trees, Incoming Void entities, etc. That's the idea, that each of the Cosmology Cosmic forces are represented as new Saviors of Azeroth, with The Naaru representing Light, Tyr representing Order, The Primus & Necrolords representing Death, & Vyranoth representing Life. Throw some Demons & The Harbinger in there & we have every cosmic force represented. Thrall is a major character who is fearful that even the forces pledged to help Azeroth might use this conflict as a pretense to take control of the planet.
• WoW Classic Cataclsym will feature the Abyssial Maw raid in addition to the original Cataclsym content. Abyssial maw was unfinished content during Cataclysm, now finished in the vein of how it was originally envisioned.

All I want for the old zones in Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdoms to have some sort of community made quest hubs to make leveling there appealing, otherwise the whole revamp would be pointless.

Yeah, it can. But the Sundering wasn't caused by tectonic plates moving, it was some elves blowing up Well of Eternity.

I mean, as far as we know that's basically how Earth got its plates. The Sundering might have done the same to Azeroth.
