part of it might have been because there was a blizzcon merch leak for it about a week before they offically announced it & people datamined the set months ago atleast its name when it was accidently included in a patch.

That's never forced a reveal before, and word is that it was genuinely planned beforehand.

If they were lazy, they could do a kitsune race that are the "Original" Vulpera that aren't short. But they will probably do the cats instead.
