I think this is right. Not because they usually end with the "biggest" announcement, but that the first deep dive panel is usually relative to the last announcement & the wow deep dive is first.

Believe it or not, you can fight strong opponents in fantasy without having to constantly compare it with Dragon Ball. Hell, Dragon Ball isn't even one of the most powerful verses out there.

This is what I'm talking about.

I personally love a lot of battle shonen including it for what it is. I'm not bringing it up because it is or isn't among the most powerful, I'm saying you're excited purely by the spectacle and fail to understand the storytelling surrounding why certain things do not work in WoW.

Answering too many questions or making certain challenges able to be overcome makes any given universe feel inherently smaller. When AD&D had character sheets made for certain gods, the intent was not, in fact, to get straight to putting them in a campaign to murder all of them, it was for a demonstration of scale.

Certain threats get less scary or, in the case of Elune already in SL, we learn certain deities are stupid and didn't bother to pick up the spiritual Zoom call to find out basic information.

When someone jokingly considers Zovaal for HOTS because literally everyone else despises that character and your response is "OMG I would KILL TO SEE THAT, HE'D BE SO OP XDD" I think you need to reexamine why you consume media.

yes, the revamp is purely cosmetic (i assume weve been seeing some fruits of their labor over the past few years via datamining) minus specific non-leveling locations i purposely did not mention because we've waited quite long for two of them.

of course there'd have to be actual new stuff for us to do and fresh places to go lol

Why spend all that time remaking cata Azeroth when the world has largely healed? Doesnt make any sense. I agree some quests are still good to go but at least 25% need replaced and they need to add world quests, rares, and bonus objectives and events to the zones imo. Ill still be happy with an HD update but ill be a little disappointed that its still cata im not gonna lie.

There was a post here a while ago that was supposed to be someone from Blizzard, which seemed sort of authentic. The account only ever made seven posts. It said (during SL) that the next expansion was a tossup between something void oriented and a more down to earth dragon-related expansion.
