Maybe it's already said, but the Algarian Stormrider was indeed a ghostly dynamic flying customizable gryphon and Squally was the baby pet version of it.

So, heres how i think this is gonna go, if we take what Metzen said and what they showed so far (in both the trailers and the new website).

11.0 Will be Xal, mutating the Nerubians with Galakronds essence, trying to turn them into a big army.
It will fail mostly, but fitting for her title as the "Harbinger of the Void", she will somehow open the way for 12.0, where the real forces of the Void will come full-scale, and finally be "banished forever" (according to Metzen).
The Void making (and failing) its big move however, will then likely lead to 13.0, when the Titans decide they had enough of this shit, and come to Azeroth again to make sure everything is going according to their "plan".

Which will probably be the point where Iridikron steps up again to do whatever hes planning to do. The wild cards then would be Sargeras and Illidan.

Sounds about right. And sounds epic. Exactly what I was hoping for. must be shit for people who didn't want this kind of story, to know the next 3 expacs aren't up their alley

Yeah it feels like at the end of this saga, we'll either get a soft reboot or a WoW 2. I'm still gagged at the announcement... three expansions?! Holy moly

I expect the Sunwell to expand a bit at least, and they'll probably put in another new zone, maybe use that one area that never got used for the void elf intro.

Ghostlands, Eversong, Sunwell, that zone, there's four zones right there, just make them a bit bigger. Or even make Silvermoon its own zone, its big enough if you repair it too (and expand).

I think if you're at the point where Metzen announcing basically the end of WoW and multiple expansions at once seems lame then you're way too irony poisoned for anything to ever hype you up.

I think that’s an extremely big assumption to make just because someone isn’t a fan of what has been presented so far. Not everyone has to be hyped to the extreme over the new shiny reveal. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion and we all have different things we’d be excited for and underwhelmed for.

There’s several things I’d have been excited for, as I’ve detailed in this thread several times. What seems to be a half baked underground expansion devoid of well known names and underground locations in the lore, no new class, and an allied race that no one asked for is not something I would get excited for. If you do - more power to you and I wouldn’t tell you that you’re wrong for it.

The art direction is nice and I like the idea of “class skins” but that’s as far as my enthusiasm goes.

It’s not a very appealing concept to me in the slightest whatsoever at the moment. But to say I’m too irony poisoned to be hyped for anything Warcraft related is just an obnoxious point to make.

Doesnt mean much imo. Raids will still launch a week after so you wont really get that far ahead, but yeah. I dont like it either.

It's already segmented off from the rest of Eastern Kingdoms by a loading screen so yeah they can just expand its scale by a factor of 2 and make ZA an actual zone. Boom, 4 zones easy.
