I expect that they'll be getting little zones revamped while the expansion is running

I know it's not really fair to say this this early, but at this point I prefer the more stylized look of the nerubian dungeons/locations from WotLK to the new Azj-Kahet stuff. It kinda looks really washed out.

I'm assuming that's actually the tip of Gorribal that they've just laced over with light?
    Looks just like Revendreth.

But yeah Revendreth was already among the best zones they've made.

Honestly I expect WoW to enter maintenance mode afterwards.

Even the most profitable cashcow might benefit from going out with some dignity. And it allows them to reinvent WoW after.
The world revamp dream will never die!

It did leak. It's just people didn't pay attention to the leak, like last time.

No. I don't expect to ever get another revamp. I do expect WoW 2 after The Last Titan though.

Looking at the zones, it looks like the order will be based on depth.

Isle of Dorn is an island with earthen. https://i.imgur.com/46mMafB.png
The Ringing Depths is just below its surface or partially underground. https://i.imgur.com/e7D7JxP.png
And both Hallowfall https://i.imgur.com/rIu9Qlz.png and Azj-Kahet are fully underground. https://i.imgur.com/wSKFmph.png

It's not gonna expand, you can see what they're doing in War Within, Cata style.

So it'll be Quel'thalas revamp + Probably underwater zone with Azshara's void forces offshore + K'aresh + something else.

It DOES become a login screen, we have that in the press kit pictures

Press Sheet confirms "Mountain Thane" is a hero custom for Warriors.

    Also:

With Warbands, players can enjoy account-wide progression with all characters in their Battle.net® account, regardless of faction, that includes shared War Within™ renown, a warband bank, achievements, and more! Additionally, a new change to transmog collection will let players learn the appearance of any gear type, even if they cannot equip it!

Ny'alotha was completely squandered, yes. Disappointing. They could've at least made part of it an outdoor zone.

So 5 new talents with 19 options? Seems like this is how they are gonna slow roll not having to revamp the talent tree again. No new talents for max level.

    Fact sheet

Some see visions of resplendent light, while others are taunted with ominous warnings from the shadows. One thing is clear: something is coming, as a sinister threat rises from within Azeroth itself. World of Warcraft®: The War Within™ is the first installment of the new Worldsoul Saga™, an ambitious creative endeavor for the Warcraft universe. Deep beneath the surface, an ancient nerubian civilization is rising to power, aided by Xal'atath, the Harbinger of the Void first introduced in the Legion™ expansion. Players will need to enlist the aid of the Earthen, a new allied race available to both Horde and Alliance players, as they make their way deeper and discover an entirely new world that has existed for centuries and whose denizens are preparing for conflicts that loom on the horizon.

⦁ DESCEND INTO THE DEPTHS OF AZEROTH ITSELF –Journey to a new level cap of 80 as you explore the vast empires beneath the surface of Azeroth and discover ancient civilizations, both friendly and adversarial, in four new zones: the surface-level Isle of Dorn, the industrial Ringing Deeps, the unexpectedly bright and lush Hallowfall, and Azj-kahet, a pinnacle of nerubian society.
⦁ FORGE NEW BONDS WITH THE DENIZENS OF THE DEEP – As players progress through the main campaign, they’ll meet the Earthen that have made the Isle of Dorn and the zones beneath it their home. The Earthen will be a new allied race available to both Alliance and Horde players.
⦁ NEW ENDGAME PILLAR FOR WORLD CONTENT PLAYERS – Opportunities abound for adventurers looking to explore the secrets below the surface in search of great treasure. Delves are scalable world instances for 1-5 players which provide meaningful gear progression that will contribute to a new reward track in the Great Vault for world content players.
⦁ LIVE OUT YOUR CLASS FANTASY – New Hero Talents for each class specialization will provide players a way to progress their characters with evergreen self-contained talent trees that also infuse class fantasy flavor inspired by iconic Warcraft universe archetypes such as a Mountain Thane for Warriors or a Dark Ranger for Hunters.
⦁ EXPAND THE POTENTIAL OF YOUR ALTS – With Warbands, players can enjoy account-wide progression with all characters in their Battle.net® account, regardless of faction, that includes shared War Within™ renown, a warband bank, achievements, and more! Additionally, a new change to transmog collection will let players learn the appearance of any gear type, even if they cannot equip it!

So that was pretty awesome. Class cosmetic customization, varied underground zones, Chris Hemsworth Anduin, the sword, Thrall, account wide consolidation feature.

Gotta wonder though, Thrall and Anduin were talking as if they weren't aware there was a titan sleeping inside of the world. Is that not known among even the world leaders? I would hazard a guess that the average farmer or shop keep in stormwind doesnt know the deep going-ons of the world and world ending threats, but faction leaders?

Also, Season of Discover is basically Classic+ yeah?
