same price
early access for the the most expansive version
2 major patches confirmed the new norm
the content is the usual new zones, 8 new dungeons, 1 raid plus random boring shit
no new class
why are people "hyped"?

On the contrary, BGs are the best PvP experience out of any of the three big MMOs right now. FFXIV's combat is sluggish, nonresponsive, and clunky. GW2 has fun combat and a responsive engine, but the SPvP maps are too small, and WvW has been abandoned since 2016. WoW's BGs are big enough that there is actual strategy in deciding where to send people, intercepting people before they can reach points, and there is downtime to rest.
So patches were actually confirmed for 11.0 and beyond, then?

Holly Longdale gave a hint that it is not confirmed 2 Major/4 Minor is the model. Lets wait until the 2024 Roadmap is released before we know the Game Model going forward.
I am ready to be upset once we have the 2024 Roadmap in front of us telling us that things have changed for the worse. But, until then I am waiting patiently.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

That was good. It still feels lighter on features than I'd like, but if all of this is building up towards a brand new World of Warcraft, I'll be really happy. Season of Discovery also might get me resubscribed.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
