I remember some posters saying how awful it would be to have an underground expansion. Since their imagination couldn't be counted on i hope they can now see that an underground expansion doesn't have to be dark and constraining.
We finally have some original zones. Good going by Blizz on this.
Alternative perspective, they're going to need 'normal' content once this massive world threat saga is over, particularly if a full world revamp (or even sequel) is on the cards. Undermine doesn't really fit in with the broader story they're putting forward here imo, but would work in like 14.0 or something.
"There is a pervasive myth that making content hard will induce players to rise to the occasion. We find the opposite." -- Ghostcrawler
"The bit about hardcore players not always caring about the long term interests of the game is spot on." -- Ghostcrawler
"Do you want a game with no casuals so about 500 players?"
Well that cinematic was top notch quality. Until Thrall came in, it felt like it was real.
Yearly but shorter expansions. Sagas...
Sniff, sniff, smells like a Total War like debacle in the making.
I'm still not seeing how time travel factors into this? 12.0 is void invasion centred around Quel'Thalas.

They've said that it's a collection of different features, such as being able to collect transmogs of all armor types on a single character. Ie, you run through SoO on a warrior and you can get cloth, leather, and mail transmogs too (maybe even the specifically shaman exclusive Kor'Kron cosmetic armor set?).

Nope. What's even stranger, Avaloren wasn't mentioned in any of these 3 expacs. Maybe it's just some big patch between now and 13.2.
Imo ideal length of season is 22 weeks (5.5 month), for fated one - 12 weeks. So 3 (pre-patch) + 2 (initial launch) + 22 + 22 + 22 + 12 = 83 weeks = 1 year 7-8 months
