One expansion every 6 years?
WoW =/= Warcraft
The only logical reason to announce 3 expansions at once is because the thing after that is simply colossal, you couldn't announce just one after announcing the previously 3
So after the Last Titan, it's gonna be whatever WoW 2 is - and I say this as someone who always argues against a WoW 2
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
This feels like the finale of the warcraft saga. The big overarching story at least.
I do like the idea of them continuing on with adventures afterword, without the massive cosmic war looming over everything. Just...adventuring through redridge mountains as innocently and purely as I did in vanilla.
I do have to agree after the three xpacs there might be something new for WoW. Could be wrong, but the Last Titan sounds quite..definitive.
No, i like the game, the mechanic part of it, i still played until shadowlands, because i like to do ingame stuff, like farming collectives, doing pvp, grinding some mounts. I will probably still buy one month of gametime just to do that now and then.
What pisses me off is the lore and the direction of the game, shit that can be easy solved if the twats in charge gave two shits about it.
Its no fucking secret that Horde want ogre as playable race FOR YEARS since TBC, why these fuckers though that getting dwarf, making human size and adding to both faction was a good idea? instead fo adding races that people want?
ITs so people on twitter can do many reaction with fake surprise and fake emotions, like when disney was pushing "ashoka the white"
My guess?
She will either continue being a major protagonist, and lead the Ren'dorei in the defence of Quel'Thalas.
Or she will get a villain arc and ultimately be the catalyst for the Void return, probably ending with her death ("At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our coming").
I'm not opposed to the second one happening; I just want Alleria to be badass on-screen, if it means she gets villain-batted, so be it. I actually enjoyed the Corrupted Stormwind Vision because it was cool to see Void-turned Alleria and her forces utterly wreck Stormwind.
But if they want to replace Alleria then they better start developing Magister Umbric, because the Void elves have literally no other character besides these two.
Holy shit, I honestly forgot it would be today. Seeing someone tell me "they revealed the next three expansions" on Discord hit like a fucking truck. Well, it doesn't seem too awful. A bit out of left field, not sure how I feel about the new logo style, but it's definitely interesting as a change of pace. Like that we're seeing more nerubian content. Delves seem enjoyable. Kind of sparse information, though. Not sure I'm an exceptionally big fan of them revealing exactly one allied race, though I've only seen the website thus far. Cautiously optimistic about what having an explicitly-named "Worldsoul Saga" means. Some of the design changes are a bit jarring, and I'm not sure where some of these locations are supposed to be; having the Arathi fight nerubians feels a bit odd, especially if they're meant to be under Dorn,—again, I'm not sure as I'm currently just reading the website,—and it does feel like they may just be using nerubians for want of some other Aqir race. I'm hoping they wind up playable, as the Earthern aren't quite my cup of tea. Big fan of the Hero Trees thing, though. That seems very fun. Same with making dynamic flying universal, though everybody saw that one coming.
