Hmm. Can anybody find evidence that Warbands actually comes with a new kind of login screen UI? I saw the image, but based on the What's Next panel and stuff I've read online it almost sounds like it literally just makes stuff in War Within account-bound for all your characters, not a cool chosen party that sits around a campfire...

Just noticed in the campfire screen that the Dracthyr is only level 13. Are the changing something?

Problem is that there is no "elven tribes" in current day, that might be the case in the past, but not today.

But oh well, retcons are blizzard greatest weapon, i can imagine they saying there is so many varieties of diverse blood elf tribes, despite they undergoing a massive cleansing after the scourge.

That's what got me confused with the time travel thing too. I thought he was implying it, but hopefully we'll just see a revamp of modern time.

Agreed, The War Within feels like it's just setting the stage for the beginning of the conflict. We all knew it was coming, The War Within starts it, and then it explodes in Midnight.

I do wonder what this will mean. Will Xal'atath be successful in whatever fuckery she's playing at? Or will Alleria inadvertantly fulfill the void whispers' prophecies and unleash a full scale invasion in Midnight?

And where is Iridikron in all of this I wonder. Will he get his wish of confronting the Titans in 13.0?

Was that confirmed to be the tip of the sword? It looks like it, but they kept calling it a crystal. My belief is that it'll be revealed in the story to be the sword.

Apparently it's an ancient civilization, so outside of time travel bullshit it couldn't be the sword.

I can see tinker shared between BM and Surv, dark ranger between mm and surv (sylvanas did go melee vs saurfang), and I guess void ranger between, mm and BM?

Seems to kinda ignore the natural pet lover aspect of hunter's way too much. I doubt they wouldn't put in at least one option that is just flat out a (woodland) ranger or something like that.

It has an enter world button so you must be able to enter from that screen.

I really want a Tinker class but you're all huffing paint if you think a new class is going to fit in 10 talent points

The Druid ones shown were basically focus on treants or focus on moon spells. It doesn't magically change the class, it's a specialisation of a specialisation...

The Warrior one shown in the video makes subtle changes (ST ability now cleave) and new VFX, it doesn't change the core class into something completely different.

I'd roll a Tinker in a heartbeat but you all need to stop thinking a whole new class(es) will be added through this system

With Hunters getting Dark Rangers.... yeah, this doesnt need to be a full class. Tinker could still be there. I doubt it though.

Anyway, Blizzard really cracked down this time, as the real leak only came out right before announcement. And it was a local team mistake. I was so surprised when I heard about it, I just had to share it here.

Frankly blade master seems like something with a heavy paint of eastern martial arts (at least if we go by the original), something a wow warrior has no connection to.

The orc hero from warcraft is literally named blademaster, blademaster are all over the place in wow are always listed as the best of the best among warriors for different races, it would make 100% sense

I mean, I think the image is the evidence it's the login UI. Everything else was implied by Morgan Day to just be behind the scenes QoL improvements.

The key art gives a strong impression that this is a group of grizzled adventures who step away from the Horde / Alliance faction boundaries.

Thrall and Anduin appear more like lone / rogue adventurers than as representatives of the Alliance or Horde.

Did they explain why Anduin and Thrall are seemingly confused by who is talking to them or the "SOMEONE" Sargeras was aiming at when we've known for a while now that Azeroth is a nascent Titan?

(Silly quibble, it's also just a weird line considering that the sword didn't need to be aimed at "someone." Sargeras was going to try to destroy the planet with Gorribal and the only reason the sword didn't go far enough in was that he got shackled in just the right amount of time. Thrall, without the knowledge of Azeroth being a living entity, wouldn't have reason to think that. He'd just assume "oh, ok, guy who wanted universal omnicide was trying to destroy another planet.")

Are we...are we just not gonna tell them? Did Magni say nothing to them? Is Magni going to continue to say nothing to them?

It's not a mystery, guys. Azeroth is talking to you. We're doing the Hydaelen thing.

This is honestly wild because those zones were looking mad progressed from what we could see. Possible they're still sandboxes without spawning and questing yet though.

They might be trying to downplay Magni or pretend he doesn't exist. It's kind of hard to have a mystery about the titan worldsoul of Azeroth if you have a character right there who can talk to her, and is also an expert at accessing computers in Titan facilities and can just tell you everything. Same reason why the dragonflights were conspicuously absent from MoP because otherwise you would remember that it would be very hard for Pandaria to remain a secret if the Dragonflights already knew that Pandaria was there and had the power to get there.
