There was two big things missing from the announcements that had me disappointed:

1. no mention of 10 man or flex mythic raids
2. third spec for DH

Now that they are setting "a new foundation" for the rest of WoW, they really should add that missing spec for DH. All other classes have 3 specs (and druids have 4). Blizz should spend resources on creating a third spec for DH's for it to be at an equal footing with the rest of the classes.

Hello, I'm 2 year old lurker that decided to make an account after today.
I have 2 questions.
1. They semi-confirmed that 10.2 will be the last major patch for DF. Did they clarify it or reported it as a mistake?
2. My only fear is that they will do ESO/Destiny 2 content schedule where it's 1 year 1 patch of one expansion. Any news on that?

They confirmed 10.2 has the last raid, but not that it is the last "major patch". So 10.2.5 may have a dungeon.

We can hope that tomorrow we will get a roadmap during the deep dive. But on whether it will be 1 year/1 patch, unless it is answered in some interview, I think it will take a while to learn the truth of that.

Just looked at world map and realized that Tel'Abim and Kezan/Undermine are pretty obvious places for patches if continent entrance is somewhere between Tanaris and Pandaria.

Nobody expects you to be part of the 'hivemind', there's plenty of earnest criticism to be found here that people engage with in good faith. A new class/race is more than a new race and 39 sub classes?

But there is no new race. There is an allied race, which is basically a reskin of old race.
And there are no such thing as "sub classes". There are just bunch of new thematic talents that you slap on top of your spec. It is a nice additional build customization, but it is not the same level as completely new spec or class.

Evoker got a 3rd support spec. We got a universal item upgrade system where you get currency from doing almost any current expansion content that can be used to upgrade the ilevel of any current expansion gear.

If they want Midnight to have a new class and race, I think either Nerubians 2.0 or Etherals would fit for a void class and unique new rig.

I think Irdikron will show up in Midnight. Presumably Elune will also feature in that expansion, which will make the Dragon Isles relevant by extension, meaning we could see Dragon Aspects and Vyranoth vs Irdikron there.

I guess he is nailed on to show up in the Last Titan at lest, but would be nice to see him more and his scheming.

I also didn't think of Elune at all lol Hopefully she finally shows and we learn more about her.

Someone needs to intervene if we are to have any chance against the Pantheon. Heck I know people will loathe this but . . . don't be surprised if the Eternals helps us as well.

Are you saying Vulperas and Kul Tirans aren't new races because they are allied races?

The Earthen are larger than normal dwarves so they may end up quite different from what we have now, just like the Zandalari trolls are very different from normal trolls.

Nothing that was comparable. The new system spreads across every activity and will let casuals get to Champion 8/8 gear which is fairly high up. Plus it allows for gear progression that will last more than a couple of weeks into the patch.

Isle of Dorn is west of pandaria, it says it in the website and it did show it's location on the map during the presentation (roughly where most maps place Tel'abim)

The way I see it, you are paying 20€ for several cosmetics and then 7€ for beta access and 3 early access days. I don't mind it. But I agree it is problematic at large and imo the early access should just be given to all preorders.

I just don't think it should happen, period. Early access in this case is just artificial scarcity in order to raise prices and increase profits. It's disgusting, anti-consumer behavior. It's bad for capitalism. We're becoming increasingly numb to being extorted over digital content access. It's a growing problem and this is just more of that.

Speaking of which, it would be cool if there were multiple entrances to the underground world across Azeroth, like how there are multiple entrances to Zaralek Cavern across the Dragon Isles.

It would also be cool if the new underground facility retconned underneath Mogu'shan Palace was explorable. Maybe it could connect to the rest of the underground world in TWW.

And it's a reskin of a race that already has a reskin. And it's duplicated on alliance + horde. It feels very budget and out of place in the horde. Next thing will be trolls and orcs on alliance.
