No mention of new race / class combinations in the War Within might mean they open them all up within Dragonflight? We'll see in the Deep Dive.

People said the same thing with DF announcement because it didn't announce a bunch of soon-to-be-abandonded half-assed treadmill features like BfA and Shadowlands did. Feature creep to fill the back of a box that will all be abandoned in a year later.

Or there's none because old races aren't relevant in TWW.

I think Dracs will get more classes in 10.2.5 but I don't see paladins/shamans/druids for all without more context.

I get why it's happening (revamp and Quel'thalas is huge) but it seems kinda filler-y without context.
Midnight is about the final defeat of the Void, which is the biggest outstanding antagonistic force left in the setting and was built up since it's introduction in Warcraft Chronicle in 2016.

Got a bit lost in things but I wonder if we'll see heritage armor for draenei and trolls in Midnight. It'd be a pretty good setting for it, since the Light's involved and also trolls (though Amani, not Darkspear, but can still be a way for them to have a heritage thing).

Means it'd be a long time from now though, annoyingly.

The void doesn't seem like something that can be defeated, even if it's just Xal and Dimensius (and Azshara??) kicking the bucket.

Also... if the void dies, how does Iridikron get his power to rival the titans?

No I just wasn't sure when trolls were mentioned in the context of Midnight.

I wonder if we are gonna see any support specs get added in a major patch or .5 to help balance out aug?

My apologies, got a bit confused, meant to say that trolls are likely involved since Amani are right there in the region.

Caught my post before I deleted it to correct myself, heh. See above. I figure Amani trolls involved in Midnight since they're in that region.

These hero talents might make adding new specs difficult.

Both CEs are out now. Cata Classic is a flying Ragnaros.

Listening to what Metzen said, we might just loose in Midnight, which is entirely why we'd need to go to Ulduar to get the titans to return. They will need to come back to retake control of the planet.

It's possible the heroic talents might have the ability to turn specs into support somewhat. Not saying this is the purpose, but rather it might be more than just some skin.

Well clearly they bring utility if Mountain Thane turned Storm Bolt into an AOE, that's massive utility stunning everyone around

  19. #55579
They made it pretty clear these aren't just skins, I have no idea why people are treating them as such.

According to Chris Metzen, that's what happens in Midnight. "You will make your stand with the forces of the Light and banish the shadow forever!". It's going to deliver on the final future war that was promised at the start of Legion.
