    WoW on console?
Nothing to announce today. Teams have been working really hard to expand accessibility options. Many people, including those on the team, are playing on controllers... well atleast they didnt say no

Well, in theory if they keep it separated from EK they could add 1-2 zones and scale it up to that size.

There's been "satellite" maps posted here in the thread, the old zones are really tiny. Elwynn Forest is about the size of the Brackenhide Hollow subzone of Azure Span. That's one of the more illuminating comparisons I've seen

I like dwarves simply because they're one of those races that don't get wanked by the narrative. They and goblins are often so inherently funny that the narrative just doesn't feel the need to perpetually jack them off by pausing to talk about how great they are every half-second, allowing their inherent chadness to become evident by demonstration.

I feel like you may be addressing this from an angle of modern politics going off the "body type" comment, which I think isn't really suitable in this instance. Bearded dwarf women has been a trope since the days of Tolkien, a Catholic so traditionalist he would shout the Latin responses at the top of his lungs after the switch to the Novus Ordo. If I'm inferring your concern correctly, this really isn't another case of pandering.

I'm glad. It's really good that we can learn items from other types of armor, but I'm also glad they're keeping the immersion by not allowing cloth users to wear plate for example. It's just silly imo.

I didn't want to say anything yesterday, as I had already misunderstood the whole Midnight plot thinking it evolved time travel, but that was my comprehension too for tmog. We can LEARN the mog of other armor types if it drops, but we can't actually USE IT.

Honestly, that's understandable on account of the very strange use of the word "tribes" in reference to elves, which I don't think has ever been used to describe their modes of social organization. Of course, the proto-high elves didn't organize in tribes between their landing in the Eastern Kingdoms to the foundation of Quel'Thalas as far as we know, but it still does leave one a bit reasonably confused as to what is meant.

Transmog was always silly. Armor itself was silly even before you had the ability to Transmog.
With cosmetic sets, heritage sets, and the ability to hide pieces the concept of a warrior not being able to Transmog cloth is just dumb.

It's a dumb limitation honestly on the same level as what we used to have with weapon transmog, and not being able to change a sword to a mace. Or more recently sword into fist weapon.

Armor Transmog limitations isn't the final barrier between all players running comedy mogs. It's just a weird limitation that makes large quantities of armor unavailable if you don't manage to get into a specific class.

Sadly it was always the wording they used. Though I was hoping they were gauging reception to removing Transmog limitations in general. Especially since collecting transmogs you cannot use is honestly just as annoying as getting Transmog drops you cannot learn.

Of course, these interviews could be older, and I still hope that Blizzard sees the reception removal of Transmog limitations got by the people who misunderstood and implements it promptly.

My only fear is either that they stubbornly cling to it. Or worse, that they know how popular it would be, and is saving it for when they need another big win.

Everything that was announced for retail i liked, it was solid and all. But it just wasnt like.. enough, no 'expansion seller' thing, the new features feel like they could have been added in a x.1 patch. The response to me asking currently non wow playing people what they thought of blizzcon has been a resounding meh.

Yeah that was definitely a weird way to say it from Metzen, but the guy was cool af so I'll allow it haha!

Same, I hope it's eventually coming down the line, sooner rather than later!

I wonder if next expansion will be another one where we won't get new batch of races character customization options, it would kinda suck as im not that interested in playing stone dwarves, i will stick to my normal dwarf.
Another thing - i hope they won't make the same mistake again like with other AR/OG races and this new race of dwarves will share hairstyles and beards with normal dwarves.

hero stuff sounds alright but its something that i need to see more of it, so far im 50/50 because i like the concept but will it actually be fun and add some "fresh" experience to the spec you're playing.

Blizzcon reveal honeymoon phase faded a way a little, so besides typical few zones and 8 dungeons/1 raid, hero system is something im actually waiting to hear more and like i mentioned, new character customization for races, especially allied races that will hopefully happen, if not then i will be very disappointed.

I gotta say, I was super disappointed in retail yesterday. None of the features really called to me, and Earthen as an allied race for both factions felt super lazy. Having slept on it, I'm a little more positive about hero talents, and I'm sure the PvP will be fine. Not to mention the art team always does a good job. But idk, underwhelming.

Season of Discovery, though... That looks super fun.

Sure, but I still think it's a weird limitation for a system all about creativity and using 20 years of assets.

Armor in WoW always blurred the lines between what armor looks like what anyways. Maldraxxus leather has metal pieces, cloth can have giant forged steel pauldrons. Plate armor can have flowing robes. Etc.

In the same way that the removal of weapon transmog limitations meant you could finally use stuff like fist weapons more often. I want the removal of armor limitations on Transmog to mean you see far more creativity in what pieces you use.

Take the druid set from Aberrus. The HC one has a clear Nightmare theme, and wouldn't that be perfect for all kinds of Nelf classes? Even those that wouldn't normally be able to equip leather? Imagine a Nightmare themed warrior using that set. Or a priest.

Transmog restrictions are stupid and it makes no sense, when you have things like yeti onesies that plate wearers can use, while holding a fish as a 1h weapon.. It's one of the good reasons that it should be gone, but it is what it is.

Another reason why transmog restrictions are still stupid because of stuff like that https://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set...frostwolf-garb
    https://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=1797/warsong-armor

Frostwolf set? It's leathere, Can't even use it on shamans or hunters, warriors.
Warsong set? It's mail, so can't even use it on warriors.

Same man, i've been sending feedback about those for years and still they didn't change it to cosmetic.

Thunderlord has some really cool armor pieces, but as leather it's available for rogues and monks, dh. LOL
