All I want to know from deep dive is if we will get regular content patches, so every expansion will have 2 more raids besides basic one and new features.
If yes, then it's all right.
If not, then they sell us glorified patches 90$ per each.
Metzen tried to sell the idea of the story being too big for one expansion, but from the description of each expansion they seem lightweight on story and characters.
Three main characters for the first expansion.
Basically just Quelthalas for second one.
    Northrend for third.
This sounds very sketchy. Nothing In them sound like something that in combination would be too big for one expansion. In fact by the description all three would have fit into whole Legion expansion, except cost 90$x3.

If it's our first look at Void Hunters, then that hero spec will already be one of the most popular.

The idea of a Void-wielding hunter who infuses their arrow attacks with shadow energy will be one of the most popular hero talents.

Dark Rangers can have their fun with summoning a zombie puppy like in Legion.

Because the concepts we are shown don't all sound like full expansions. This coupled with Dragonflight ending with Amirdrassil despite evidently having no production issues like WoD or SL.

A full underground expansion lasting two years would probably feel claustrophobic, and people would be clamoring for the next expansion, and I think Blizzard knows this.

TWW releasing, then one, maybe two raids, then done. Move on to Midnight and Quel'thalas for the same.

As three full expansions lasting six years it would take forever and probably end up really boring. But as three big "patches" of a bigger expansion it makes perfect sense. It's the right amount of time spent in each area, and it's the right amount of time spent on the storyline.
The world revamp dream will never die!

There is still a Deep Dive today.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

I wanted different nerubians, in a different place! Nyaah!
Yak!! Good to see you. As creator of the Spider Kingdom concept, what did you think of the Nerubian zones coming in TWW?

Also, and those hero talents are going to be an incredible way to further customize your chosen class. If Blizzard can keep up with the patch cycle (as they somewhat demonstrated with Dragonflight) we got some good times ahead. I think it’s a time to celebrate imo.
You are correct! I will try to see all the positivies instead!

Class skins is an absolute W, as is Xal!

Shouldn’t we save this criticism until we know more about the upcoming content?

Well at least do that until we get more info. Too many assumptions flying around.

I think the cinematic left a bad impression on people about what to expect.

Looking at what happened in SL with covenants, I think the most popular one will be the one that is the best in [pve/pvp depending on what you do].

Dwarves are often praised online as chads through memes, but in the actual facts, you rarely ever see dwarves in-game.

Dwarves are not a popular race that can hype up an expansion.

    But Void elves are.

Look at the crowd reactions. Everyone is hyped for Alleria and Xal'atath, much less reaction to Earthen.

This was maybe unnoticed but this screenshot suggests Dracthyrs will be opened up to new classes. This level 13 is wearing like 10.2 transmog and carrying a dagger on the side. Druid or rogue?

We did see some new gear but rather basic stuff.
Also we did see the neutral mobs, we see the spider market, they showed it before they spoke about it which was a bit odd. But I guess she fell behind explaining stuff so got desynced from the video a bit.

Okay, interviews confirmed a new BG so even those people can shut it. Also Earthen will have the same classes available as Dwarves, minus the Shaman. That is okay. Waiting for the racials.

How can you look at the TWW zones and feel "claustrophobic".

The only place, that looks mostly dark and cramped is the Nerubian zone and even that one seems to have light places. (And I say that as someone who is skepitcal about underground places)

If you break it down, every sequence of expansions sounds like patches. Like I can sum up MoP-WoD-and Legion with "Garrosh wages war, flees to Draenor in the past, where Gul'dan unleashes the Legion who we then beat definitively".

Honestly, I think this is more indicative of how we've gotten used to half-assedly blowing through storylines after BfA. BfA easily could've been stretched into at least two expansions, if not more.

They never reveal the entire expansion. I generally agree that it's a better idea to rethink what an expansion is and cycle through stories faster without feeling the need to milk a story that people aren't feeling, but there's nothing that indicates that's what's happening here. It's fine to assume that's what's going to happen if that's what gets you excited, but the people who are automatically assuming that's what's happening and are dooming over it need to realise that they're making up something to be upset about.

Uh, it looks on par with MoP feature wise. Further this gets a slight advantage because we got the next two expansions revealed on top of it. 5.4 lasted for over a year.
