I play mostly warriors and slayer and colossus kinda sound boring on paper when it comes to the names, with mountain thane you have something similar to mountain king so there's this "hero" flavour that sounds similar.

Instead of slayer and colossus, wouldn't something like "warlord", "Berserker", "blademaster" or "gladiator" sound better?

Waiting to hear more about these 2, because just names don't sound that exciting.
I might be the same issue as Artifact Weapons. You know, there isn't enough cool lore weapons for every spec. Same with these hero talents, I suppose. Like, I have no bloody idea what the monk talents will be called. While I also think Blademaster should be a thing, I have a suspicion that most of these hero talents will be brand new. Things like Far Seer and Dark Ranger will be the hook, but we will mostly see new names.

But why tho? Lore reasons? Or because they didn't want to make new totems yet.

It has hero talents which absolutely are as big as artifact weapons only again will be evergreen; it is unclear how ambitious these will be since Dark Ranger, Mountain Thane and Farseer and Keeper of the Grove absolutely sound like Class Skins while Colossus and Slayer sounds like nothing but those may be placeholders so I am just waiting for the Deep Dive and hoping we get more info on it. If they are as ambitious as SoD runes are (which turn mages to healers and shaman, warlock and rogues to tanks) then they will also be extremely impactful in gameplay.
And then it has probably the biggest QoL improvements any expac has ever had with warbands.

The other content is standard fare.
Colossus is a pretty good concept for being shared between prot and arms. I'm hopeful that Slayer will be replaced with Blademaster. Slayer sounds pretty lame and could easily be a rogue or hunter spec. There's an argument that Blademaster is too orc-specific, but Mountain Thane is pretty damn dwarf-specific.

Elune's Chosen is brand new but makes total sense. Night Warrior and Priestess of Elune don't really fit fully enough under the druid label so it makes sense to merge them and make something new that makes more sense for druids.

I'm worried that this is the nail in the coffin for truly cosmetic class skins, but I think it's a great idea to at least try what they're trying with hero talents. They can always change it later to be purely cosmetic if that's what people want.

Yeah I am kind of hoping those change to something more thematic like Berserker or Barbarian and Gladiator. I am really not sure Blademaster abilities fit warrior as much as they fit shaman or monk (I mean judging by WoD blademasters, I'd say they are closer to 2h shaman)

These seem to be a mix of 4th spec, dual spec and class skins. Not how people envisioned either systems, but I'm curious enough to see how it will turn out. This could be very good honestly.

Q&A says they'll be all classes except druid, DH, and evoker. So they definitely have shaman.

Ahh okay. Sorry I read that wrong. Early morning, I guess. So they will have the exact class list of dwarves.

I have a feeling that Blademaster is going to be a Monk hero talent. SEF can easily be subbed for Mirror Image. Warriors don't really have an ability like that.

Honestly I'd like to see at least one Hero talent for monks that alters the class so it channels something other than the August Celestials. Imagine an Anchorite version for MW/WW that works with the Holy Light instead
There are a few classes were I feel very comfortable with what we might see. E.g. Shaman should be Farseer (Elemental, Enhancement), Witch Doctor( Restoration, Elemental), Shadow Hunter (Restoration, Enhancement)

Sad for no Earthens shamans/druids it doesn't make a lot of sense to me to have them be able to wield the light/fel but not elemental/nature forces

It seems to me like the kind of idea that will have massive growing pains, but which will be great after a bit.

Earthen are getting Shaman. Wang read the front page wrong.

Really hoping for a roadmap because fall 2024 still is far away.

    Earthen should have Druids

Yeah I just caught up with that, thanks Teriz! Makes a lot more sense! We still need druids for every class though! I hope it's coming at some point

Also, I might be proven wrong on this as more stuff gets revealed. But I don't feel TWW has enough meat to sustain a full two year expansion cycle. Going by my gut feeling I am thinking three seasons in an annual expansion cycle.
For TWW we have Azj'Kahet for the first raid, and then something Titan related for the second, and then a fated season to end with.
For Midnight we have a Troll raid, then a Sunwell raid.
And for TLT we have Harrowsdeep and Ulduar.

Again might just be my gut feeling on how this works. But that feels like the route they are going to take.
We know Annual expansions are likely predicted to be more profitable. And honestly I think it's better for the overall game to have stronger expansion themes over a shorter time period. Rather than what we currently have where there are locations that are either too broad to properly fit into one expansion, or too specific to stretch out.
It's way too early to tell. WIth SL and DF it's way more likely, that we will have a 3-tier expansion cycle.
We know so little about the zones, and the stories that we can't talk about whether there is enough meat.

There is Azj-Kahet, we could be journying under silithus, that sword will CLEARLY play a role, then there is that crystal in harrowsdeep, which i presum is something like Oshu'gun, a crashed naaru-vessel whose naaru is dying. There could be some titan stuff as well. there are way more options.

Midnight could have us travel to K'Aresh, Argus-style, have an ethereal raid, etc.

And they have more than enough time to set up story-lines for TLL

Apparently it's not the sword but a crystal of sorts per the What's Next lady.

Which makes sense because the entire region seems to have evolved around the crystal light and if it was the sword it would be only around a decade old gove or take?

Not sure how I entirely feel.

    Glad I got bamboozled honestly.

As for WW, mixed feelings so far but becoming better with the interviews coming out so all in all i would say its not gonna be bad for me.
Tho I really do hope that Fated season or 1 year expansions aren't going to become a thing in Worldsoul saga (tho I guess fated season are already a thing in DF).

But I am a bit disappointed at only 4 zones at launch and the new race being more customization for dwarves
