By the way, how do you guys feel about them completely dropping the original logo format in favour of a runic circle? I know they want to distinguish these three expacs from the previous ones to underline they are part of a saga, but to me they look less fun than the logos of old.

I'm thinking they're doing it like this so they can have the planet prominently in the art nstead of just tiny at the top where the OF was. That way they can play with how they portrait it in the art. Midnight shows it engulfed in void shadows. Last titan showed it encased with some kind of titan looking part of a shackle. Of course war within shows it straining with cracks

I'd like to begin planning my Warband as soon as possible, down to the smallest detail.

From Morgan Day's interview yesterday evening, warbands don't have any separate UI or anything... it appears that they're simply an integration of characters/alts with some shared things like a bank, War Within reputations, etc. Not sure there is much to actually plan with them, but I guess we'll find out.

God Asmongold has devolved. He thinks Classic is the future and retail is dead. Nothing will ever impress that guy. They literally have given him everything he ever wanted systems and QoL wise and hes still unhappy.

Yeah I took it that way as well. But then others pointed out that the mock-up (or whatever it is) they showed us actually has a little button to list other characters? We'll see, I guess.

For me personally, having a UI screen is pretty major because I have a ton of alts and difficulties staying focused on just a few. Being able to just show 4-5 favourite characters and more or less forget the rest would be great.

Well, it could be that we defeat the Void in Midnight, only to learn that Light on it's own is overwhelming in some form of storyline in the Last Titan. Metzen did say conspiracy. The Titans/Order being subservient or compromised by the Light?

Unfortunately, I think the Deep Dive will spend about 15-20 minutes recapping yesterday, or going into fairly generic information. That leaves at most about 30 minutes for delving into new info.

And let's not forget this is general WoW Deep Dive, so expect Classic as well.

That is pretty good lol. I find that most influencers will just gaslight and manipulate their audience to believe their word is one of divine nature. I'm sure there's good ones out there, but it is a lot of farming for outrage, manipulating the audience.

There isn't much to deep dive for cataclysm classic, since it is just cataclysm again, and they said they aren't gonna spoil season of discovery since the point is the discovery. I expect almost fully retail related content

There are a lot of light adjacent tendencies and themes by the Titans. Tyr and Aman'thul specifically. My general belief is that whatever comes after 13.0, it'll be the mortals forging their own path in a way almost untouched by the cosmic realm for a bit. Maybe a full rejection of most cosmic entities in the greater sense (aside from classes)

The earlier panels were Wow: and Wow Classic:, this starts WoW: so I would assume it's just retail but who really knows (other than Blizzard)

I get why it's happening (revamp and Quel'thalas is huge) but it seems kinda filler-y without context.

I would guess the login screen with your warband will be customizable with scrolls obtained in-game, similar to Drake customization in Dragonflight. This way, you can choose different backdrops, poses, weather, and additional doodahs.

Oh fuck, you're right. 45 mins is not alot for a "deep" dive when you have to share it between 2 games, especially with classic and it's umpteenth game variants.

It's a shame I used to be such a big fan of Asmons, but not he straight up knows nothing about the game and is so out of things to complain about that he just makes shit up, anything to paint the current game as bad as that is what drives engagement, I see this on his sub all the time, people talking about how trash ruins raids, complicated systems *cant name any in DF* and "too much feelings" are why modern WoW sucks

Nothing to really talk about with Classic. They explained the Discovery systems in depth yesterday and classic is just classic with minor changes.
