I must fulfill my Slayer oath!
Didn't they say there would be a progression and difficulty curve over the course of a season similar to other "pillars" that culminate in endgame heroic/10-15 M+ loot?
They have more room to be creative than that, but yes, it would be easy to color some arrow shots considering those assets already exist. Very different from a full class skin people want.
Not true yesterday the article and I believe presentation said they don’t want button bloat (wowwiki article) so there would be a button or two potentially bht mostly passive.
Dark ranger for example I fully expect wailing arrow to be there from Sylvia legendary bow
Players want it to be trivial though. They dont want to have to play a minigame to get to that rare quickly. They just want to get there. If they want to add more challenges and minigames for flying thats great. Dont take away functionality. It probably would have been fine if they implemented it the way you suggest, but its too late now. You cant take away peoples toys. Its like flying in tbc. They regretted adding it, but it was too late. Cant take it away.
Shado pan sounds tasty.
O-o-h, I wonder what Templar is like.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
What is the hook going to be for 10.2.5 do we think? Tuskarr AR or Dracthyr classes?
So, what is the main selling point of the next expansion? What is the headliner? Delves? From the info we have so far, they seem like withered scenarios from Legion, but for multiple people and a item reward at the end. If implemented right, this could be a nice feature, but it also has the chance to go down similar to Island Expeditions or Torghast.
Everything else has the grandiose of a patch content.
Hero talents are just regular talents, but separated into a different tree, they didn't even bother to promise any cosmetic differences based on what you take.
New Allied Race is as patch content as it can get, and IMO is a letdown even by Allied Races standards.
The Warbands is a gimmick for account wide bank/rep and a worse iteration of Bind on Account items, which we've had since Cata or MoP.
I know that the term "filler expansion" is hated around here, but this is exactly how TWW feels to me.
unclench your jaw
They will scale and become more difficult
Regarding Hero Talent spec names, I think they should stay away from the ones which imply you are unique as a character.
Like "Scalecommander" for Evoker, that has an obvious lore implication. "Chronowarden", however, seems fine.
Same with Death Knight's "Rider of the Apocalypse". Suggests lore. Compare that to one of the Rogue ones, called "Trickster", lol.
For Druid, instead of "Elune's Chosen", "Keeper of the Grove", etc., they could just use established "of the" titles we've had since WC3. Druid of the Talon, Druid of the Claw, etc.
