It doesn't have the top tier transmogs yet, so I will still give the win to 10.1.

Time travel shenanigans is definitely more my jam compared to spelunking in a cave though.

Yeah 10.1 has several great tier sets (though weirdly I think the normal versions are almost always better than the Mythic ones) plus the campaign set which is gorgeous (and my new mog)

I am going to make a bold prediction that it's siphoning off whatever corruption is in Galakrond. Would feel weird to have Iridikrond attempt to revive him that way, when realistically he should just be able to remove the boulder that is choking him.

Feels weirdly enough like we have come back around to tier colorations being decided randomly like it felt like back in MoP. I know Shadowflame is a big deal in the raid, but it still boggles the mind that the purple variant of the armor is the Mythic version for DK.

It really only works for spriest imo.

If 10.1.5 is infinite I doubt they'll double down on that for 10.2. Emerald Dream VS Decay is quite likely imo

  7. #5647
I think the Infinites will just fuck off after 10.1.5 and may appear in another expansion. 10.2 will be Dream vs Decay and then 10.3, if it happens, can deal with what happens when Tyr awakes.

Looks like as Alliance, you'll have to fight Grom, and as Horde, you'll have to fight Lothar.

The mega dungeon is gonna be super relevant plotwise with all thats going on. Its not that big a deal but it runs the risk of part of the main narrative getting forgotten by the playerbase.

I did always want some caverns of time dungeon to be related to that so I got my wish in a way.

It'll probably be mythic exclusive for a short while, then added to the heroic queue in the next season. Maybe earlier in 10.1.7.

The only thing of importance to the main story narrative seems to be Iridikron and his disc. The Infinite stuff doesn't seem relevant to the rest of the expansion, though it may feature late (and who takes on the Aspect role will definitely play into the story)

Pretty much every single dragon-type mount has been reclassified to MountTypeID 424. Not entirely sure what that could mean, but a tinfoil hat theory could be they're becoming dragonrideable.

Woot! This seems to include the ravens, hawks, and other mounts that use dragon rigs.

I feel like this has to be reused in the Dream somehow.

Am I the only one to think that the fact they added all these dragonriding races to the old world pretty much confirms a world revamp is dead at this point? Why would they bother implementing such a cool feature and awesome races for them to become irrelevant next expansion if they revamp the old world?

Now that the third spec is actually confirmed it's funny looking back on how this forum treated that one dude who was actually speculating off of real honest to good data. Everyone calling him an idiot and stuff for saying Evokers were gonna get a third spec. Maybe now some of those people will learn to actually use their noggins for once.

Maybe they will port it over if there's a new phase? That, or the geography will be very different in a revamp.

That's my point, if there is a revamp, I'd imagine the geography to be different and therefore the races couldn't be ported over... so they'd stay in the old version of the old world? That seems like a missed opportunity. I don't like this Team World Revamp... smells bad to me

There's a brand new version of the WoD harrison model in the raid, so there's the revamp copium.

Also possibly they don't change the geography at all.

No, because we've been assuming the physical topography of the old world would not change, (IE: No cataclysm or sundering causing the world to change) only the buildings would be updated & the quests & creatures would be revamped: So that wouldn't affect dragonriding in the old world.

Could they still revamp the old mountains that look outdated as hell without changing the topography? If that's a thing, then I guess it can work, but I don't see a revamp happening where we keep those disgusting transition mountains in between each zone- the transitions look much better in newer zones, KT, Zandalar and DF being perfect examples. I guess in my mind that meant the topography would change, but I guess it could roughly stay the same, and just be redone with newer technology?

Also dragon riding through all those ugly old trees is going to be... ahem, something.

Actually, the VERY fast turnaround (during development of an active expansion) on old world dragon racing makes me think were already fucking around with Kalimdor and EK. What do we think about that?
