Tyr story, minor world content updates, Flying in every zone in the game.

Elemental wolves aren't a blademaster thing.

Nothing big really has been spoiled:

    1. We help World Soul underground
    2. We fight Void with the help of the Light
    3. Something didn't go according to plan, titans arrive.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Can't really say. Maybe they'll focus on hero talents in the future, in 12.0 we'll get 3 class, 3 spec and 4 hero talent points.

Nothing ambitious. We're just getting island expeditions/niffen but in caves and with great vault loot, and a few new talents.

Blizzard brought out Metzen on stage and announced the next three expansions at once to deflect people's attentions away from how lackluster the expansion is. TWW will be the second expansion in a row with no new experimental content or features (no, dragoinriding isn't content, it is a travel mechanic to get you to the content).

The Tyr plot could easily open Paladins up to all races. That can be a hook.

should separate tww, mn and tlt threads be made?

Players care about convenience over gameplay far too often. And as I have said before, there is convenience. There is old flying, and there are flight paths. And even with how I envision it you wouldnt see players who struggle with the basics, you would just see them not fly as impressively.

For me this is basically as if the most challening content in the game was a levelling dungeon, and all classes could at worst two shot bosses for easy loot.
It would be absurd to not consider options for content that doesnt necessarily require a large amount more skill to do, but at least offered ways to show off mastery of your class in a cool way.

From the info we have so far, they seem like withered scenarios from Legion, but for multiple people and a item reward at the end. If implemented right, this could be a nice feature, but it also has the chance to go down similar to Island Expeditions or Torghast.

Everything else has the grandiose of a patch content.

Hero talents are just regular talents, but separated into a different tree, they didn't even bother to promise any cosmetic differences based on what you take.

New Allied Race is as patch content as it can get, and IMO is a letdown even by Allied Races standards.

The Warbands is a gimmick for account wide bank/rep and a worse iteration of Bind on Account items, which we've had since Cata or MoP.

I know that the term "filler expansion" is hated around here, but this is exactly how TWW feels to me.
It literally has everything DF has plus those things. How is that filler? Still has world quests, m+ raids, pvp with new bg, Factions, etc, but now also has delves, world content on weekly chest, pvp reward changes for the better etc.

If DF wasnt filler then TWW isnt. And if DF was filler in your eyes, TWW is DF+.

They already made everyone THE head general of their faction on Draenor during WoD. They already made everyone THE Highlord of the Silver Hand or the Ebon Blade or the Archdruid and even gave them THE Doomhammer and the Ashbringer or reforged Frostmourne. The player character is already treated as unique.

Part of the reveals too imo is to show people they intend to have multiple conclusions to these storylines. To not keep us guessing "when is a light/dark expansion coming".

Also, I dont think they are needed, but ill eat my shoe if 12.0 doesn't add Forrest troll and high elf races. They are perfect fits.

As someone who's been very critical of the story the past few expansions, I think this is the best course for them. The narrative has suffered seemingly having to invent new places and characters each expansion just to drop them and move on to the next thing. Only with very loose threads holding it all together.

I think having 3 expansions to tell their tale, with established characters at that, will give them more time to focus on making the story cohesive. They might still drop the ball of course, but I think plays much more to their strengths approaching it this way.

With respect, that's the most glass-half-empty thing I've seen written on this thread in the past 48 hours.

As I said above, why do we need new systems? All people have done is complain about them. This new expansion feels like a culmination of all the things people have been ASKING for for years: alts treated as player agency, shared benefits like reputations and reagents, open world progression, dragonriding made universal, and much more. Doesn't sound lackluster to me at ALL.

Did they say anything about how many characters can be included in the Warband?

I think that'll be a point of controversy if it's limited to 5 or so.

Your warband is all your characters, ALL of them, over all the servers you play on.

Ion said it in the deep dive; it's not a new system, it's the way they are looking at your entire character list.

I liked the experimental content. I liked garrisons. I liked class order halls. I liked island expeditions and corruptions. I liked torghast and Covenants. The issue is that Blizzard abandons them at the first sign of resistance.
