It'll probably be mythic exclusive for a short while, then added to the heroic queue in the next season. Maybe earlier in 10.1.7.

Look at previous Megadungeons. That's likely the timeline we can expect as well as the type of setup.

Actually, the VERY fast turnaround (during development of an active expansion) on old world dragon racing makes me think were already fucking around with Kalimdor and EK. What do we think about that?

Could be, but then it would mean the turnaround was never truly that: who in their right mind would redesign EK and Kalimdor without thinking "oh yeah, dragon riding is gonna have to be a thing here too"? So if we go down that slope of "they were already tinkering with EK and Kalimdor", then they must have known since day 1 dragon riding would be expanded outside of DF, therefore it's not a turnaround and more them hiding this from us and pretending they're thinking about it and all that jazz.

I wonder how much effort is actually needed to make it work. It might not be all that hard to do, compared to making them accessible for flying which basically required a full terrain rebuild.

It would make a lot of sense if it was there indeed, haven't seen any on the screenshots so far, I hope we'll get to see more soon! Although it's strange that such assets would be developed so early on for that patch. I'd rather inhale a bit of copium and think those assets were designed for the World Revamp and then reused for that patch; but as it turns out, we get to see the patch first! *inhales WR copium*

What if 10.2 is an infinite related patch? I think that would be dumb. Gimme the Dream and Elune!!!

I feel NOT giving the Infinite Dragonflight a full patch would be a *bad decision* — please dream lords/Green Dragonflight and Ysera fanbois — that stuff can be its own patch too! Even a .5… sorry not sorry

They could be ported and modified. I personally think the Order Realm is next, or the backside of Azeroth, but a world revamp doesn't seem too far out the loop.

My money is on backside of Azeroth / Avaloren, but a WR would be absolutely fantastic!

I admit I'm a bit sad by that as I have my main backpack set up just so and those hearthstones take up a place that I like. Please my mind goblins. Ah well, I'll deal.

I like the mage changes but I'll have to see how it plays out. Rune of Power is actually gone, amazing.

Also I see my wondering if the whole "grand prix" thing was just an instanced version or something went out the window, haha. Happy for that.

I believe you're just looking at a different variation of it that's already been used elsewhere (not garrisons I guess). No new human building WMOs were added in 10.1.5, at least.

The problem with dragonriding is that it is extremely limited to dragons themselves and a few winged creatures using gravity. I like this system but in what world would it work with all the flying mounts in the game?
I mean...I love my bee and moth mount, how am I supposed to fly with it if a dragon is much faster? That would mean that, I don't know, 70-80% (number at random) of the mounts in the collection would be totally useless. I have no idea if they have any plans to fix this, but it's really frustrating to watch them wade through their mistakes by releasing systems that aren't thought to work as a whole.
It is not at all designed to work with all mounts in the game and yet we are heading towards a world where it will be available outside of the Dragon Islands.

It's almost entirely a matter of how much they want to invest into animations. It wouldn't be very hard to make every single mount work with the system; some would just look rather silly while doing it. There's no technical reason why they couldn't let you Dragonride while bodysurfing on Ragnaros; he'd just look rather stiff since he doesn't have the necessary animations. But it would still work.

Maybe the pics of the dungeon are taken from a different build that went live and those wmo's just arent in it yet?
