    Sure. But Blizzard doesn't seem interesting in doing that. They ARE interested in doing Hero Talents with some of them being thematic archetypes since we have Dark Rangers added. So I'd rather talk about concepts that actually exist in the game and could be expanded to give me what I want than to imagine completely different concepts that do NOT exist in the game and have never been presented by a dev but are only part of reddit and this forum and the few streamers who farm us for ideas.

    Still have a tiny sliver of hope they'll revamp/update everything north of the Thandol Span.

    But I don't want to right now so I really don't expect anything like that.
    That... would be fantastic. I hope they keep building on it, but I don't want to get my hopes high either.

    For Northrend I am not sure. They could do the entire continent from scratch. They could also visually upgrade it; it is large enough to host a modern expansion.
    If they do revamp Northrend entirely... what do you think will happen to ICC? And wouldn't Dragonblight feel a little bit repetitive after Dragonflight?

    Is this true? Because that's insane if they do it without motion capture in this day and age.

    ICC could the expansion's neutral city, ran by the Ebon Blade. Dragonflight could get some updated shrines and there still is a skeleton there a certain person has shown some interest in.

    That would be truly amazing if true.

    I don't think a HD update is out of the picture just yet. Why else do we have updated assets for things like ships, Ironforge guards, the human inn, etc.?

    If they do that, I'm not too fussed about a World Revamp or not.

    Nothing? ICC looks brilliant. Maybe touch up the textures but they can keep the structure as it is. Heck it could even be the expansion capital. Dalaran will no longer be there after all and I am not expecting Ulduar to be friendly to us. Bolvar could be our host for the season.

    By the time TLT comes out, we'd have 2 expansions and several years since Dragonflight.

    It'd also be just one zone out of several.

    Oh on this I agree. This is what Ion was saying after all, they could do a visual upgrade. Just do what they did to Arathi but to the entire world. We've discussed this with @Marlamin several times, it is entirely possible that much of this could be automated by simply replacing doodads and world objects (e.g. trees and buildings) with visually updated equivalents that are spatially identical. THAT can be done. if you respect the geography of the land, that means that coordinates for existing quests and for mob pathing etc stay the same.
    Heck, this enters dream territory but they could fix the zone borders. Most of the zone borders are pristine, they do not have any quests or any mobs interacting with them. You can alter the terrain there without any issue. And then maybe, maybe revamp capitals only.
    Then if there is a story they want to say in the old world for a heritage quest or something like the Blue Flight quest, just add a phase.

    Re-imagined / Reworked, BIG, one of the most iconic Raids in history of WoW, with many EPIC Boss fights(12, 15 , 20 even) - some legendary EPIC questline (no some drop-a-shard evoker bullshit) + Reworked Northrend (Windtree, not a snowy-one)

    Ppl gona lose it
    if smth like this occur
    + many vets will come back (nostalgia hits hard)

    ***
    and about Hero specs

    I cant even imagine (iconic) orc warrior in 'mountain thane' hero spec (dafuq)

    This must be tied to existing lore and class
    Alliance/Horde

    (A) Hunter -> Sentinel
    (H) Warrior -> Blademaster
    (A) Warrior -> Mountain Thane
    (A/H) Paladins -> Crusader / Templar
    (A/H?) Priest -> Inquisitor

    and so on..

    Blizz came up with names for the hero class a long time ago - they just need to collect them and put them in the right place.

    the names are not set in stone. There is time to suggest these during Warthin beta, imho.

    Very much so, why would an inquisitor be in the middle of combat. They are in the back torturing people.

    Yes, for sure.

    A world revamp, or rather what it entails: a modern version of traditional Azeroth, would be a dream. But given how they've presented this Worldsoul Saga to us, it's possible they'd rather just give us a new game 3 - 6 years from now, set on Azeroth. WoW might at that point become more of a legacy title with ongoing DLCs for people who want to hang around.

    I could see Ulduar coming back as a raid but seriously altered; you could join it to the Halls of Valor.

    Ulduar doesn't necessarily has to come back as a raid, it might as well be a zone.

    That is suicide. I am fairly certain that a lot of people are just playing WoW by habit because of how much time they've sunk in the game. We have massive mog collections, multiple alts and so much history in this game. Unless you somehow translate all my collections and bring my main into this new game, I am not sure I'd invest in it.

    True but I do think they are setting up a confrontation with the Pantheon and where would that happen if not in Ulduar?

    And Blizzard knows this, otherwise they wouldn't bother with more accountwide stuff, altfriendlyness and the warband feature. Really, people should stop the fearmongering when Metzen literally said the World Soul Saga is the start of the next 20 years of WoW.

    A new raid maybe? Entered through Algalon's room. Some sort of Titan palace in a place between space and time. Just speculating.

    For some reason, i can't help but think of Odyn taking Ulduar for a joyride when reading this. And then challenging you to a race.

    Honestly, Ulduar turning into a giant airship for Odyn would be incredibly funny.
