I'll be honest, I kinda don't like the whole "the evolved nerubians look like elves" analogy since we already had that back in Legion with the Fal'dorei

Spoiler:
That is unless they throw something else out of nowhere like they did Evoker.
They could add something like Bard

The Artificer thing that was mentioned before TWW could be interesting.
Playable Ethereals, and Artificer to go alongside them. However I personally think they’ll save the new class for TLT.
So..... do we think the Five Naaru who taught the first Human priests about the Light through visions are stuck in the Hallowsfall crystal?
https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Mereldar
What I find interesting is that for the Arathi they are described as wielding Holy Fire instead of Holy Light. I wonder if they are creating a different way to wield the light rather than what we are used too.. I'm not sure they are moving away from Light can be evil. We did just have a Scarlet Crusade partially return in the Heritage armor story and in the Shadowlands the naaru that was captured Z'rali mentioned she couldn't return to the other naaru because they would consider her tainted. This of course doesn't mean that all naaru are bad but I think they have a strict goal that they all adhere too and they don't accept any deviation.
The crystal in Hallowfall is very similar to a naaru turning light and void. Not sure what that means super excited to find out.
Overall I wouldn't be surprised if they are trying to build a not all void is bad with Alleria and not all light is good with Anduin.
One thing I’m curious about in regards to the light crystal thing is the mechanics.
I wanna know if it turning to void truly is random or if that’s just the stand-in for a day/night cycle.
I don't think Mag'har scenario was implying Naaru/Light is evil. It's heavily implied the Lightmother mentioned is Xe'ra, which lines up with our Xe'ra, who while not evil was antagonistic to a point that Illidan fried her.
Xe'ra wherever she is is a bad naaru. If she crosses over with Yrel, then we may get some of that, but so far none of the others have been antagonistic.
However I do think the "Light made a bargain with the enemy of all" pertains to them and the Titans (from the POV of the Void, the Titans are the enemy of all things outside of their Order, and Keepers seem to have Light powers) and might mean that if the Titans are beaten/agree to leave Azeroth then something might happen with the Light.
Maybe they agreed to give Azeroth over to the Light if they can't handle it?

What kind of launch window are we looking at with the beta being in spring? On track for an August release?

They will not do that. It would make it mandatory for raiders to have at least 3 or 4 alts to funnel gear to their main. Bad idea.

I dont think they will do one. Maybe some specs. I think our next class is tinker/artificer in 13.0.
BTW someone said there was an interview confirming they have multiple wow teams now. They are working on 12.0 as well as 11.0. They like the patch cadence of DF and want to continue it. So i think that confirms 18 month expansions with 5 to 8 patches and 3 tiers assuming what I heard was true, and assuming they can pull it off. Im 100% fine with 3 tiers and 18 month expansions.

Im with you Teriz.
I think we'll see a group of Naga join us during Midnight. They are technically a subgroup of Elves. I do have to wonder what is so important about the Sunwell though that Night Elves and possibly Naga are needed to defend it?
