Looking back on the What's Next panel from BlizzCon, I think all of them (Terran, Maria, and Morgan) did a great job, and the content they showed us was great.

I still miss the other panels we used to get that would dive deeper into each topic, like the Art panel. But what we did get was good.

Do you remember when expansions came with a behind the scenes section? I wonder why they stopped...

They said they plan on doing a new patch every 8 weeks right up until TWW launch, so we may still get one.

Eh, at this point I'd rather get a farewell cinematic for Ysera. She's been useless the entire expansion anyways.

My idea is this. At the culmination of the story at the Last Titan the Pantheon is split. Azeroth has clearly been corrupted by the Void. Whatever Iridikron does will kill Golganneth
Aman'thul believes the only solution is to to destroy her before she ever awakens and Norgannon agrees with him and . Eonar, Aggramar and maybe one more (I'd suggest Khaz'goroth since his focus is creation) counter that they can place the World Soul in stasis and find a way to cure her. Then Aman'thul brings forth the rules they set up when they created the Seat of the Pantheon and reveals that all who hold a Titan spark should hold a vote and allows Sargeras to vote. Sargeras tells them that what he senses is very different to what he once saw in Telorgus but no one believes him. He then casts his vote to kill Azeroth resulting in a tie

Then suddenly a wild Azshara appears! She has manipulated Iridikron and everything from the start and holds Golganneth's spark and with that the right to cast the deciding vote to spare Azeroth. Aman'thul is furious, refuses to agree by the vote and attempts to destroy the planet anyway at which point WE kill him. Norgannon flees to the Plane of Order to be a villain in another sequel.

Not sure yet how I would finish it but at the end I would have Azeroth put in stasis. We are then tasked by Eonar and Elune to heal the world so as to soothe Azeroth's soul while they lez out. Which ofc means world revamp because ofc it would, I am writing this shit.

Joke aside, if WoW also takes inspiration from DnD, the material plane (Azeroth) is the center of the planes and takes a little of each one of them. Everyone wants to take supremacy over Azeroth, but maybe Azeroth has a different opinion.

She is an independent woman and no one will tell her what to do. So what if she is going through a goth phase. Everyone knows goth girls are hot.

I'm not totally backing what Worldshaper is putting down, but doesn't the Titan prison toy from the Tyr questline put you in something identical to it?

My working theory remains the same, ultimately. One given power can't be the end-all be all-good or bad without it diluting the setting massively. The endgame is that Azeroth is likely to be some kind of tabula rasa with everyone, including the Titans, trying to make their mark on what "she" is due to her power without the care into the fate or nuance of her people. Ultimately the story will culminate that she is ours to shape, free of any major alignment among the six (no 7th force anime horseshit pls), along the next 20 years and beyond.

I remember once a dev suggested (but it was then retracted) that the world soul is dead. Honestly her being stillborn and the people of Azeroth inheriting her potential would make for the better story imo.

Sylvanas was referring to the cycle of life and death when she said the world was a prison for the record. I doubt she knows shit about the world soul, and I dearly hope she's not relevant to this saga.

Pretty sure she will be. I just hope now with metzen they try to rebuild her character to a point i don't get ptsd when she shows up anywhere. I'm afraid that there is potential they write her as the hero and savior of the midnight expansion, so lets see what path they will take with her story.

Big news is 3 minor patches next year before 11.0, Fated will have no raid affix, and will be the 8 DF dungeons.

Interesting that it says the next 3 expansions are "as large as DF, SL and BFA". BFA was far larger than the other 2
